a seedling from a
(vietnameseBlack x meaoThai) x (nepaleseHighland x blueMountainJamaican)
cross...

the VbT was around F3, and the NepalJam was around F4 or F5,
as worked by the ace/cbg breeders, when i grew them/made the cross in 2012.

the F2s from this cross could be interesting...

More like a five way sativa cross but sometime soon I aim to make a Zamaldellica x Senegal Haze.

It will be a cross of four African sativas and a drop of Thai for good luck.

Zamal x Malawi x Senegal X Phoenix Haze and the tad bit of Meao Thai.
Hey Bob, I second the Senegal choice, one of my BEST souvenir, can you tell me more on yours?

I have changed my views so much it's insane. The past few years I discovered a new world. The only four way satty cross I ended up making was Mullum/Thai x Lambsbread/Vietnamese Black. They are still untested but might have potential.

The Senegal I have came from Cannabiogen.

I do believe all these sativa strains will win back their ground once its again legal to grow. In a good greenhouse they should do well almost everywhere...

Thats so true. I wish I could grow in big greenhouse...mixed cultures with all the other vegetables like tomatoes, peppers and so on...

I like this kind called geodesic dome...with a small pond in the middle like this guy did

I would like to try (Kerala x Congo) x (Parvarti x Ciskei)

or

(Congo x Mexican Highland) x (Parvarti x Ciskei)

The female part for high, potency and taste.

The male part to shorten flower and add resistence against cold.

Anybody tried something like that in the north?

Practically*I want a Haze that finishs outdoor at 50N.*
I would start with an Bangi Haze *(Congo x Nepal) from ACE. Its quite inbred so it needs not much selection.*I love its clean motivating high and yummy taste. Starts flowering around 1. September and finishes around Mid November. Too late.

I going to select some early phenos and try to acclimate it over 2-3 generations.

At the same time I want to start another line...but not really sure which strains exactly..

Any suggestions ???

Some early ZA would be nice. Maybe Ciskei Highland Sativa or ZA Kwazulu.

I think its possible to select and acclimate it with enough time and breeding outdoors

I am thinking about a cross between a long flowering sativa and ACE's lebanese sativa with semi-autoflowering traits... Anybody did such crosses?

My ultimate would probably be something like: [Oaxacan gold x Colombian Gold] x [chocolate Thai x Congo]

Now, it would likely not finish in my area, unless it looked more like [oaxacan x Thai] x [Colombian x Congo] with heavy selection and breeding each parent strain to quick flowering...

If you want hazes for 50N i suggest you contact LaBuenaHierba. He's a specialist for northern hazes.

I read a little bit in the threads from LBHs strains. He is specialized in auto- and semi-autoflowering crosses right?

Actually I dont like AF but his strains look nice. And I like his way of breeding. Small projects with passion should be supported. Maybe I will give it a try...i have to read a little bit more

Dutch passsion Durban is a good choice to lower flowering times without addding sleepy weed.

it shows sex by mid july at 41 north.

I also seeded a Bangi this year to see what happens to the mix i am making.

The DP is prone to mold and rot because its flowering through the heat and humidity of summer but maybe Bangi can make it more hardy.

Dutch Passions Durban seems to be a good choice. Could improve Bangis yield. Bangi is quite hard. Dont know how she will inherit in a cross.

Which Bangi Haze cross are you trying?

best phenos of amnesia haze x super silver haze x super lemon haze x haze (maybe) :D

I crossed a Super Silver Haze x Pakistan Citral Kush (from CBG). Yield went down due to PCK. But she had a slightly sweet smell and a rough smoke with a kind of sweetness. High is quite good. I think will work on with her...

One important question: How you guys cross your 4way hybrids?

(Strain #1 x Strain #2) F1 x (Strain #3 x Strain #4) F1 ??

Or do you select cross #1 and cross #2 until F2 or F3... ??

I think most won't stabilize them to IBL before...right?

Many times.

The onset of flowering is heavily delayed by the later flowering strain. I would say you can roughly compare the outcome to a Himalayan strain in terms of flowering.. Himalayan x Lebanese on the other hand could work at you latitude..

Lebanese, or Leb27 as it used to be called isn't exactly a "sativa" though. Not in the traditional sense at least. It seems to derive most of it's genes from NLD sativas (hemp genepool) and some from indicas. Very little relation to what people think of as sativas but looks quite similar.

Personally I would think twice about crossing a long flowering NLD strain with a genepool that carries the bd allele for cbd. In the worst case scenario you will end up with a 120 day plant with high cbd and low effects.
