I saw KC Brains seeds selling at 55 bucks a pack recently and I thought Gypsy had sold them much cheaper before he dropped the company. I am sorry to hear that so many had poor results with his seeds. Some I examined were not mature in the packages and I knew the germ rates would be very poor as they looked green.

Seeds can take a long time to finish properly sometimes but it is necessary that the seeds develop to the point of showing markings to be prime. Keeping stocks fresh and properly stored under refrigeration is all I can do besides making sure they are mature. I select each seed personally before sending them out.

Nirvana has many fine strains and I would urge those having past results less that stellar to give nirvana another chance because Gypsy has said that some problems that did occur had been corrected. I would want another chance too if you were unhappy so dont write off Nirvana seeds. They are a very fine bargain.

I would love to see a more positive thread about what the best strains you have grown are. BOG

wow i saw nirvana bublicious in this thread.. i grew that out ,, it stunk and was nice and potent.. i have a feeling alot of the problems are grower errors.. like people have problems germing.. ive been working on 4 packs of nirvana for like a couple years now and all of them germ..never had any germing issues..

I hate to complain about a freebie, but the dream goddess I got with my strawberry diesel order was complete crap IMO. I have heard of tohers who said otherwise but in my case it was bland tasting, very low potency, and an all around shitty high, more like beasters than grade a.

Sad to say, but you're not likely to hear from Bushy on icmag. Don't know what to tell you about Plan B. Some folks here are working with his gear. Southwind (I think?) is the making most visible effort I know of regarding BOG seeds.

I think a stable sour bubble would be awesome.

Last I spoke to BOG was months ago, and at that time he told me that whatever gear that seedbanks have left are years old. BCBD is a shady company IMO, they are known for sending knockoff's, non viable seeds, or nothing at all. Do a search for BCBD or BCBud Depot and you will see others experiences with them. I guess the point is to buy BOG gear aty your own risk. If you feel like jumping through some hoops, pm me for a reliable site to obtain leftover BOG gear.

I did 4 packs of Nirvana AK48 (SBoutique) - got 36 plants and finished with 18 females. Only one female was a dope... grassy hemp. All the rest were fine with 1 in 3 very good. Maturation ranged from 6 to 9 weeks. Moderate stinky - some stealth because the smell was not a straight out sweet imo - quite Piney smell for the Sativa's and rotten dank for the Indica's. One female was very low odor and well ready by 7 weeks. Yield was very good. js.

Good thread. I only grow Motarebel seeds mostly so no disappointments there.
Or clones.
But the purple cream clone was a huge waste of time and space.
I still have it in a baggy.
I busted it out the other day, it smells like french fries now.

SD IBL, I got 8 out of 10 germ rates. All males. Not user error, I also cracked Gonzo #1 and got 100% germ rates. So far 3 females out of 5 Gonzo no. 1's.
I have read quite a few reports with the same. One guy bought two packs and got 1 female. I figured I would buy them myself and see if there was anything besides the hype. Guess I'll never know.

I got better germ rates and male to female ratios off Nirvana Beans.

Luckily a generous friend gave me a some cuts that make the beans irrelevant. I am happy to get 2 distinctive types of males. One very lanky and sativa and stinky. The other more indica looking and bushy type. Will use both to make crosses.

Looking forward to growing Blue Sat 2.2.

So far.........All I've done is nirvana's stuff in waterfarms and ocean forest self made mix.
The ONLY dissapointment was on 2 morocco x afghan females that never flowered even after 4 weeks of 12/12.
They just kept their little 'hairs' and went to alternate leaf patterns.
However,Hindu Kush,White widow,early misty,ak48 and white rhino are the best 15 bucks I've spent so far. I couldn't have been more pleased with the hindu kush especially though.

Mandala's Hashberry left me sorely disappointed. Yield, taste, high...and all the males...I'm not sure I would want to grow these out again except for houseplants. They would be shiney houseplants, full of trichs, but... eh...what else can I say... it wasn't for me.

my worse grow must have been masterkush from dutch passion...i got 5 fem seeds from them last year and only 3 germed(2 ended up all black and gooey on the inside after i ended up cracking them myself) so 3 out of 5 for a start!!!

then all 3 plants hermied on me fight on! what a shit grow and a waste of time/money and effort.....think ill stick with femaleseeds.nl....had an excellent ww grow from them and a monster gf grow..just waiting for that gf to come back in stock!!!!

just had a terrible germ rate on some ghouse nevilles haze got them from seed bay none germinated not one im extremely pissed the hawaiian snow and arjan gave me perfect germ rates though and i got bad germ rates out of koala seeds digi berry 1 popped and humpty doo haze 3 popped out of 13 seeds and i poppped some swan seeds sour cali only 4 out of 10 popped its alot of seed companies that have terrible germ rates i paid 180 for those ghouse seeds
