Im diffently down for a BBQ. Like DG says can't find that stuff overthere like we got back here. Would be funny to see the looks on all the Dutchies faces when they see everybodys face covered in BBQ sauce. I'll bring the clean wips. Jubei

NOW I got a BIG SMILE ON MY FACE & can't stop me from showing now!

Brisket / Pulled Pork / Rib’s / Chicken / Sausage / Corn on the cob / Potato salad & my beans = fit for a King!

If you can come up with ANY sort of cooker I can slow smoke to perfection all of the above meats & will / I am due in Dam on the 18th & am staying 6 days & would love to cook for this group

All I need is help paying for it- I live on a budget / and spent my next months extra $ on seeds to start up a grow = oops

Let me know & I will get the details arranged / my flight will be paid for this coming second wed. & when it is / I will give you a definite - I will be there(see no stopping)

ps. if I don't cook for the group / I will cook for a few of us / a week with out BBQ would be just to hard on me
I really did need a smile today - Thanks IC

Could I ship-order some stuff over? /wood pelett-spices-sause? / If so when I pay for my trip / I need an address I can ship some stuff to? / holland have restrictions? /

I will also give ya a lesson on how to cook it your selves

I must warn you though, you will most likely NOT find some very important ingredients in Amsterdam...like any kind of mesquite seasoning or wood chips, etc....definitely no Bar-B-Que sauces or even things to make it from, chili powder is hard to come by but can be found, and the beef and pork here is very good from a local butcher  We are going to keep our eyes open for a cooker, won't be as nice as that one pictured, (we'll be darn lucky to find something that even resembles that over here LOL) but will have some sort of a cooker and hopefully a cook named Fredster :friends:
dg

chili powder hard to come by  wheren't the dutch spice traders in the past. I know a couple spice places in the dam.
wasn't there a barbque of sorts last year, I certainly had some nice corn on the cob.

hopefully there will be some more vegi munchies as well.
If ya really need I can bring some spices from Zürich :biglaugh:

and if any body wants to be my insta-pal they will bring some good Rootbeer :yummy:

:friends:

ROFLMAO....believe me TF, they ain't got Texas style spices and bar-b-que in the dam, not the real deal we're talking about anyway  There is a bland verson of chili powder there and yeah, imagine that, these fellows sailed the caribbean waters and found all sorts of yummy spices but oddly enough, most grocery stores in the dam don't stock 1/3 of the spices carried on the shelves in the states...you must clue me in on where the spice shop is...I'll be popping in there for sure. Yeah, the corn on the cob was pretty darn good last year, but nothing compares to the likes of 'Texas style' bar-b-que

as a vegetarian my opinion will be other, than most of what texas has dished up on stage. I'm half afraid a stereo texan would try and have me for dinner, roasted on a spit of course ,)

the spice shop i would 1st visit is in the Albert Cuyp market, they sell kitchen trinkets of all matters as well. :D

CHOP CHOP :biglaugh: !)(I will use wood pellets) Thats good for the old heart! (so was that chill dog)

I am in contact with DG on this & will cook for a few of us / or the whole group / just say the word Gypsy or DG & I am on.

In cases like this - all I need is a local charcoal & a cooker of sorts / I will send over or have DG order what I need / I have done this for years & know how to cook under just about any circumstances & do it on a budget.

(come on grirls daddy needs some meds  ) I talked to my boy while still in the womb - why not my starts!

I tried to up-load my swag filled pot tray with seeds, stems & roach papers :biglaugh: for a smoke report :moon: / but it keeps telling me there is some error in the last upload process / I will some day finger  it out / I want to doc a few grows!

Have a blessed day everyone

I will also join with a few others to provide some sweet treats along with some healthy salads to go with the barbeque. I bet you will be cooking for quite a few Fredster so sorry that we got you into this but its just too good to be true.

Guess what I brought DG as a gift? BarbeQ Sauces...she is gonna be wild for your food Fredster and man o man is she a hot number herself. Gypsy eats meat which is unusual for a Buddhist but we allow that in my sect. We allow just about anything. :D BOG

its been over 18 years since I ate barbecue.... :yummy:

Last time it was in North Carolina where I went to college, they called 'em "pig pickins" and were major bashes with all the bikers chugging up on some serious Harleys with kegs of beer strapped to their bikes, pigs cooking on wooden spits for a whole day...damn its been a long time!

We can rent Fred a grille I bet...

This cook out is gonna rock and we did have some good foods served last year too. We had so much fun last year that some of us never wanted the event to end. Alas all vacations end but we took a lot of pictures and we had so much fun after meeting for real. Once you meet a friend from online posting is more fun after that because you really know the person. I can't wait to know some more of you in person. BOG :D

I had a booth...

Last Year...

Soma made some oil for us all...

My sour Bubble was the tightest nugget there. BOG
