My recompense will be meeting the lovely people who I've come to call friends. I really don't need anything else at all BOG. I am not a VIP as yourself and others here so I would be very embarassed to have any kind of favored treatment, especially since this will be my first time there. I am also beholden to Gypsy and Dutch for a kindness they did me and could not accept anything other than a fine smoke in good company from them :smile:

I can cook any where & turn out World class Texas BBQ / & would love to / I believe every thing I could need is right there in the Dam / it's a thought anyways / send Gypsy my cooker piture! - it cant come with me (darn) / but I cooked for years for LOTS of people with what I could use / tell me how many people & i can do it / I have cooked for thousands & do it cheaply as well

u aint kidding bacc ,i got my new passport sorted today ....
i had to report my old passport lost at the police station ,i got there and after getting myself straight to face the officer on the desk i promptly pushed the front door to find it locked.........the police station was shut

so thats what i pay my taxes for ,i was disgusted ,i had to drive 3 extra miles to a police station that was open ,oh its great to live in the uk

Maybe you haven't been on IC Mag long enough to know....but Bar-B-Que
is something that has a very dear place in my heart AND stomach :wink:

This past summer I took Gypsy to a real 'down home' Bar-B-Que place in my homestate....yummmm I was craving REAL Bar-B-Que...there's nothing even remotely similar over here. Soooooo, we're all for it, BRING IT ON! I must warn you though, you will most likely NOT find some very important ingredients in Amsterdam...like any kind of mesquite seasoning or wood chips, etc....definitely no Bar-B-Que sauces or even things to make it from, chili powder is hard to come by but can be found, and the beef and pork here is very good from a local butcher :wink: We are going to keep our eyes open for a cooker, won't be as nice as that one pictured, (we'll be darn lucky to find something that even resembles that over here LOL) but will have some sort of a cooker and hopefully a cook named Fredster :friends:
