Years ago we'd consume Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose seeds. Far fewer of them required in contrast to the HB Morning Glory seeds. And yes, they were effective, despite the standard nausea that, no matter how well the hulls were scraped, like peyote, there's a strong probability of initially experiencing an upset stomach.
In the past, commercially obtained HB MG seeds, etc., were purported to be treated at the distributor's to prevent ingestion, and often carried a warning label.
I haven't looked closely at this packet, but when I was recently shopping for seeds for this summer's garden, I saw them, and figured I should plant the flower boxes near the road with them..
I found myself wondering earlier if the sub-species has remained unchanged, or if perhaps there might be folks invested in changing the genetics some for purposes of not perpetuating their more psychedelic purpose, as not all Morning Glory seeds carry the same chemistry.
I can't remember what the comparative ratio is for a decent effect. I know the Wood Rose Seeds we used to munch on required between ~12 & 15, and were notable at that rate. I'll have to look up the proper # for the HB Morning Glory seeds.
Hopefully they're what they are labeled as. If not, we'll maybe just have some nice flowers.
