Years ago we'd consume Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose seeds. Far fewer of them required in contrast to the HB Morning Glory seeds. And yes, they were effective, despite the standard nausea that, no matter how well the hulls were scraped, like peyote, there's a strong probability of initially experiencing an upset stomach.

In the past, commercially obtained HB MG seeds, etc., were purported to be treated at the distributor's to prevent ingestion, and often carried a warning label.

I haven't looked closely at this packet, but when I was recently shopping for seeds for this summer's garden, I saw them, and figured I should plant the flower boxes near the road with them..

I found myself wondering earlier if the sub-species has remained unchanged, or if perhaps there might be folks invested in changing the genetics some for purposes of not perpetuating their more psychedelic purpose, as not all Morning Glory seeds carry the same chemistry.

I can't remember what the comparative ratio is for a decent effect. I know the Wood Rose Seeds we used to munch on required between ~12 & 15, and were notable at that rate. I'll have to look up the proper # for the HB Morning Glory seeds.

Hopefully they're what they are labeled as. If not, we'll maybe just have some nice flowers.

if you have to pick the dunny house up and move it to new long dropper.View Imagebit flash.

the first 2 years I was up here in MN I used an outhouse, we painted it white, then a friend nicknamed & painted a sign declaring it 'The White House', couldn't help but crack a smile (amongst other things) every time I walked in & past that sign.......

All the coon hunters, I used to know are dead. Rare breed. The secret is in the dog calling. :D

Hunted raccoons without dogs when I was 11-12 years old. I think we used to get $1.50 to $2.50 per skin. Spending money for youngsters. Some of the youngsters I knew in that rural area domesticated the buggers, and put them in cages, and others shot them and sold pelts.

Used the beagles to run wild cottontail rabbits out of brush piles. Essentially the dog bringing dinner, with very little urging.

A friend in the bush used to have what started as a couple fox eating chow in his front yard.

Then a couple became a large family.

He'd feed them left-over dog chow, scraps, etc., cooked up and served in a series of spots close together, so each of them had their space, then go into his kitchen and watch them eat through the window.

Called it 'The Fox Channel."

Seriously

You know you live in the country when tractors are apart of the regular traffic. Some farmers are alright, and others I wouldn't piss
on if they were on fire. A pair of farm boy twins come to mind. One
of them went out of there way looking for a few plants I had and near found them. This was on public land. They hate on me due to the fact I smoke weed. Fuckin wankers.

never done any coon hunting myself, plenty of squirrel & rabbit, but no coon. And now since I do no outside gardening I let the rabbit run free, I have a huge brush pile that needs burning but I'm sure a colony of bunnies would perish in the blaze; as big as a school bus, tinder dry & ready to rock, it's been building for 'bout 12 years.......

A neighbor of mine got angry at the Raccoons, skunks, possums, and bears that were getting into his garbage area.

So he shot the dog belonging to the oldest resident in the neighborhood, blaming it for the collective mess made by all the animals.

The oldest resident did not take it sitting down.

Independently, I was doing a quick web search on neuro-toxic metals, and saw the list of 4 or 5 traits of people who were exposed to lead as children.

The guy that shot the dog - and the shooter's brother - are 4/4 or 5/5 for the traits from lead exposure as children.

Which doesn't help bring back the older guy's dog.
