The dog dodged the bullet, if he was outside he would have gone after it. He got skunked 5 times in the past year, killed two little ones.

House is closed up. got one on my backyard Game Cam last week, a big one

I have a black cat and went out to run water the other night, it darted in front of me chasing... another black animal? I discovered it was a skunk... it ran under the irrigation tank and thankfully I was able to coax my cat away before it sprayed

Last night at about 9:30 was checking a water tank and found a three foot rattlesnake halfway on the sidewalk. Glad I was using a flashlight because oftentimes I don't. Right where we park cars. Relocated it a ways away from us, bout two miles.

About 9 at night a couple weeks earlier came home to a good sized black bear at the top of the driveway that wasn't moving, just staring at my truck. After getting closer she turned revealing her two cubs, they all walked away slowly into the tree line.

The Skunks (a pair) arrive like clockwork @ 8:40 pm.

Trying to get the dog in early before he gets Skunked again, is a challenge.

That's funny, can relate somewhat. I've got nine chicks in our living room for their first month or two, in a 6x6 cage we've used before. Don't want them escaping tthe larger area the other eight are living in due to their size. Foxes do their best here to thin the flock.
