Hey Joe this was about the fun of participating so nobody was laughing at anybody. Avi actually started this one so he gets the props.
Don't you hate security issues? Too bad about losing your stock. Good luck with the pheno hunt.

WC you want to hit the female Buddha? Here she is: Here is what she does for you:
Emotional Rescue

Kwan Yin's appeal is that she responds to the heartfelt needs of ordinary people. She is accessible to anyone, regardless of social status, and will come to the emotional rescue of anyone who calls upon her in a time of crisis. There are many ways to invoke Kwan Yin into one's life. The traditional way is by chanting the mantra OM MANI PADME HUM.
It is further believed that to have a picture or statue of Kwan Yin in one's home brings good luck and protection to the household.

Avi you're going to have to do a speedy dry on a bud of that Buddha's Sister so I can get that smoke report out of you.
I'm going to do an updated smoke report on mine because now it has a 2 week cure on it as of today. As a matter of fact I'm going down right now and light her up. I will give the smell heads my take on the smell. Opening up a bud and tearing it up into smaller pieces, I smell what is predominately a fuel smell. It has a lightly lemon smell riding that fuel with a lightly burnt rubber smell underneath. The smell is somewhat unique in that the longer you spend with your nose in it and the more time you take analyzing the smell, you realize that all of those smells blend very well into it's own unique smell, which is probably true of all pot but the fuel is the main carrier on this one. It is not a harsh fuel smell but the predominate one with the others smells balancing the fuel and making it pleasant.
Now going down to smoke it up.

:) upon harvest the buddah's sister is VERY sweet citrus, like a lemon drop, hint of pine "sour" in there.... very strong smelling, the big plants of BS were PUNGENT like mad.

im guessing it's gonna be sweet citrus flav smoke w a sativa style buzz
BUT i'll do an official smoke report asap, the little yogis soil was fully dried out upon harvest, will puff some of them perhaps tomorrw or sunday, if ready.

Well I was gonna do another smoke report then for some reason some hash broke out and it all went to shit. I'm sure it was great but with all of that hash on top of it I couldn't really tell. I'll just leave it that I was really satisfied with the final product and I had a great time growing it in my little yogurt cup.

6.4 grams, 6.2 grams, 3.5 grams, dry

The one I chose to present, 6.4 grams dry, Female Seeds grab bag, grown from seed.

Second largest one from clone was a Female Seeds Iced Grapefruit. Third was just 3.5 Boggle gum from seed. Considering how much I screwed up from root rot as I was figuring things out, I'm happy I had anything live at all. Runt? LOL I bowl of super tasty mind buzz. Not worth showing off at all.

It was fun to do, learned a LOT, and thanks for letting me play.

And that's a wrap! Today was the posted final date, I guess there are a few hours left, but I'd guess we have everybody that's going to finish.

I'd just like to say how much fun this was! I had fun, learned some things, had some camaraderie and yeah, grew a little weed.

Nice job everyone! Props to all that finished!

I'll second all that WC. Nice folks, fun time and great learning experience. Kudos to Avi for making it all happen. Thanks Avi.
I personally want to thank the breeders at Nirvana and Delta 9 for doing all of the work to make nice genetics that I used to make my cross. They did all of the hard work of finding good phenotypes of plants they loved and using their experience to determine which genetics worked together.
Also want to thank Hempy for sharing his growing knowledge with the community and for giving me a new and exciting growing method.
Last but not least thanks to ICMag for giving us the forum for our playground. Cheers to all of my fellow participants and here's hoping you all have a great new year.

bigups yall, good vibes,
i puffed down the buddahs sister... good stuff, kinda sweeter than i expected, not as sour lemon as it smelled, nice buzz, not particularly sativa leaning buzz, but very sativa looking plant structure.

Avi have you smoked any Buddha's Sister from a full grown plant and was it any different from your yogi plant?

Hey LG (and others) -- I'm thinking of giving Hempy a shot ... I think there were a few of you that were happy with Dynagrow nutes ... I'm looking at their site ... are you guys using AllPro 7-7-7 for veg and Bloom 3-12-6 for flower?

Are we bothering to pick a 'winner'?

If so, I vote LG ... just liked how that plant came out, very pretty, decent yield, good documentation of grow. Nice work all around.

Thanks WC. This is how I use the Dyna Gro products: I use their drain to waste feeding schedule for this hempy grow- http://www.dyna-gro.com/ and I use the products they recommend on that schedule. A few key points, each plant is different and use their schedule as a guide; although I followed it to the letter on this grow with no issues at all. They recommend on that schedule to correct ph for all nutrient availability and I would follow the recommendation. I didn't and I think I was LUCKY to not have issues. I have used their products for soil media grows with no issues and I followed their soil feeding schedule.

I love their stuff, easy to use, not expensive when you consider that you can grow a ton of plants. I had several multi-plant grows and still had quite a bit of product left over. What attracted me was how many big time professional growers use their stuff. I knew they knew a lot more than me, they used their stuff with great success and they highly recommended their products.
I first read about them on the Garden web site and the main container growing guru on that site highly recommended their stuff; considering he was an expert and I was a noob, I followed his advice and have been very happy that I did.
