what kind of material did you use for your smart pots joe? any drawbacks too using them?

it sure looks like they worked!

It's the arts and craft felt from Wally World and besides drying out
Super fast and needing water everyday I found nothing I didn't like
About them.. Massive feeder roots not really any thick tap roots just the fine fuzzy ones.. One thing I did find out was with the felt
It did not speed up the flower time.. Guess since they never really got
Root bound.. Ill deff use them again tho for the next one for sure,
May even scrafice a extra smart pot and sew up a side by side to see what is better

Here it is:

Topping it had little effect on filling out, just fox-tailed some.
So what i lost in mass from topping I gained in new growth.
But in the growth spurt was found a delay in finish time.

So a net loss. Note to self, don't top in late flower. This plant
may finish late June, early July.

Her sister will come down around the same time.

Not pressed for time, but I grow with no climate control,
so it's a race against the heat of high summer.

We'll see.

But I'm Gona take her to mostly amber. I want this lil girl
To imprison me into the couch lol..

Persephone- I like my buds cloudy/amber. Then a 60-90 day cure.

The bud shot of a previous run is from January 2013 and smokes
so smooth. Complex high with some trip and no burnout at the
end, 4-6 hours later.

Not a good wake and bake, lol.

Thanks guys, but kiwi u think the mini SCROG is impressive, check back a few pages and check out green matters afghani both of those are like wow...and the set up was off the hook

Hell yeha green matter , I can't wait for the next one I'm Gona see if I can wrap my head around the whole auto feeding.. Already got a PVC rain gutter I'm Gona use for my base and drain so we will see I just harvested some nice nugs of the skywalkr again and it's almost ready..( that's the strain that I was smokin when I thought of mini SCROG and tiny smart pots) so ima sit down n the back yard start tinkering.. It's a 10 foot gutter so ill have plenty of material to screw up a few things and start over.. Lol
