Potologist I'm harvesting Bog Bubble now. I found it to be a total nute hog, never found its limit. When I switched to 12/12 I continued with 1/2 strength Alaskan Fish Fert til the 4th week of flower in addition to feeding Pure Blend Bloom. At the end of 4 weeks flowering I discontinued fish ferts and PBB and switched to EJ Bloom. I also used the EJ catalyst and Maxi Crop. Yellowing of leaves didn't start til 10 days after I cut off all nutes.
Your right about the smell. I love it, and the high is great as well.
yo personaly i think you are giving it too much of one kind of nute. giving a plant that much juice when it is not used to it can shock it... you were giving it relitively low nutes to veg ...then it sounds like you slamed it with high phosphrous.... this can spell trouble and can cause many problems..and hard to tell how or what to do to fix it... a plant can take as much nutes as ya want to give it .... you just got to do it slowly.. i would flush the plants and use a 20-20-20 ,with micro nutes ...to balance it back out ..hope this helps ...this matter of feeding go way into more deepth than i have time for lol....big subject..good luck.. oh if your not burning the tips of the leaves ...your not feeding enough lol
it's a joke but a true one
Oh, and GMT? Those are not healthy leaves your holding up as an example. And any accurate info is necessary for a beginner. That's how you get rid of beginner status.
SORRY TO HAVE TO CORRECT YOU IN PUBLIC OLD CHAP, BUT, the purpose was to demonstrate that unhealthy leaves at that point dont prevent the plant from delivering a nice smoke if the plant is looked after. And you stop being a newbie once you have gained experience, not once you have read a lot of other people arguing about stuff. As for status, I'm not interested sorry, I just wanted to help out.
This reched yellowing continues even after feeding. The yellow leaves dried up right on the plant, new leaves are yellowing. As recommended i am leaving the dyeing leaves on the plant as it makes sense. Leaves closer to the growing tips remain the greenest. The growing tips themselves are all green and some have deep green little mini-leaves so they look good.
I gave her a good heavy dose of pure blend grow with worm castings (1/2 cup) mixed into the gal of water. (with some H2O2 and superthrive) The ph of the water was checked b4 I added it. it was about 6. (water with Pure blend grow and bloom formulas when used as directed seem to be quite on the alkaline side from my exp.)
Anyway, i did give her a lot more water this time than i usually do. (she drank the entire 1Gal.) So of course, soil is taking longer to dry up. We are at day 45 of the blooming cycle! most of the hairs are still white with about 8-10% or so having wilted into a dull earth color. (No red hairs) I have a 20x / 30x pocket loupe to look at the glands with. Maybe i am just a newbie but even with the 30x its hard for me to tell if the gland head is cloudy or amber. If its amber then the amber color is very faint. I have to think that must be it, she is at 45 days. SO.. Im thinking she will get one more good watering with plain water. A very good one as it may be the last one. Comments & observations appreciated.
