The silver is good its the .9999 i got it from atlas nova

Iv made 1 batch with it already using the 9v batteries

I think its the adapter , even though the volt meter is reading the volts for some reason its just not working

Iv hooked it back up to the batteries and its working again i can see the silver leaching off it

So i guess i will just get another adapter when i can and try it again , so until then i will just have to stick with the batteries

Thanks for the help fellas

Do you have a drill or screwdriver that has rechargeable batteries? For as much as you are going to need, one of those batteries would work fine. For that matter you could continue to use disposables.... unless you are going to be doing a bunch of strains/plants.

Heck the power supply from one might be strong enough.

I had the EXACT same problem today.. went to make a second batch and nothing? checked everything 3 times? after a few hours i metered the alligator clips and they were the problem, had build up on em not allowing conductivity..
I hit em with some sand paper and all is swell again! lol

Check your clips!!

If I was to guess (and I am), I'd say that the current/amps from the transformer is/are too low. So you read volts, but not enough power to flow across/through the water. The water is only a semi-conducter.

Its a 1 amp 18/24 adapter

The 18v reads at 20v on my meter and the 24v reads at 28v ( but here is a pic of my adapter

I have 2 9v rechargeable batteries but they dont seem to keep the charge very long , i have to switch them out every so many hours

I wired up the adapter in hopes of faster results because it was taking up to 2 days with the battery to reach 30 ppm

but my 9v battery charger is one of those ( Super Quick ) chargers ( idk if that makes a difference or not )

I clean the wire every so many hours because of how the 1 will get black so i scrub it off but i did not think about the clips themselves ( But i did just check them and they look as clean as the day i got them

but now i know to keep an eye out for build up on them also ( thanks man )

Much thanks to all of you :tiphat:

My snowryder is full of balls now but i thought it would pollinate herself but their is no flowers to pollinate but i have an auto jack in flower that i will use the snowryder fem pollen on if i get enough

Their dont seem to be much , not all the balls have opened into bananas yet but their was a couple so i tried to pinch them open above the jacks and they almost seemed empty

Their was a very little bit of pollen ( looked like it had a whitish color to it rather then yellow ) but it was so little idk if i was able to get the pollen on the jacks

But im gonna keep trying damn it lol

here is my snowryder i sprayed

Sorry i dont have the best camera for pics

If you cut a branch or 2 off and let them dry for a day or 2, the sacks will mature and open rather quickly...

So just cut it and hang it like i would bud or just cut the balls off and leave them on something like a paper plate for a day or 2

Sorry this is my first time trying to harvest pollen lol

ya bro, just cut the branches off when it is old enough or your sure it has pollen in the sacks, dont trim the branches up, just cut em hang em on a hanger or the likes..

Good luck!

Idk about all the sacs since their not all open

But a few were pretty swollen so i picked them off and pinched them open over my auto jack and finger fked her the best i could but it was only a little pollen not a lot

But even though it was just a little their was pollen :dance013:

damn im excited about my first possible few fem beans

I just wanted to add that when starting a solution, you may need to move the
contacts much closer together to get a reaction to start happening.

It is the hardest for the reaction to run in the first moments that it happens
because deionized water does a bad job of conducting electricity (no ions to help).

I got mine to 30 PPM and have been spraying it on one branch of a
Somango plant. No signs yet, but I have yet to flip the plant.

Good luck all,

JD

Been making colloidal silver for a bit now hammering down that sweet blue water. Looking at doing some female to female breeding in the near future.

I went to the store to get a gal of distilled water but was in a rush and accidentally grabbed a gal of spring water instead and did not realize it till after i got home

Will the spring water work for making the c.s or should i wait and just get the distilled water when i go out tomorrow ?

If the spring water is not ok then ill just use it next time i feed my girls

Also will someone PLEASE let me know if this is successful pollination ? will the fem seeds form in these pods ?

Iv been pinching the sacs open over different branches on my girl just letting the fem pollen fall on the pistils

So far their is only 1 branch that has pods forming on it and the other branches still nothing

This is the branch with the pods on them ( will the fem seeds form in them ? )

And the rest of my branches still look like the same ( No change yet )

But so far its just the 1 branch with those pods on them

Check the 'typical analysis' info on the label, you'll see that spring water is not much better than tap water in regards to purity. Drink it and get a bottle of distilled water instead

They look like male flowers to me?

Those are male flowers, but u have to let the pollen sacks open on their own. Don't tear em open.
The seeds will form where the female hair is.
