hm...i don't want to argue senselessly, but can you elaborate? he (trump) doesn't say much, basically he thinks the evidence shows its from the wuhan lab and that he thinks its an accident not on purpose. so whats wrong with that? didnt you say you agreed it was a distinct possibility?

Okay, without going back and listening again, as I noted in my original comment that he apparently drew his 'opinions' from a vague statement 'that many were saying' or some similar language. It appeared to me that it was this vague basis on which the film producers began building the foundation or their hypothesis/argument/conclusion. This construct seemed furthered by the insertion of the statement by Pompeo, a tool utilized by professional propaganda creators to reinforce an iffy 'fact'.

Certainly Trump and anyone else can share their opinion but I believe in calling a spade a spade. Don't try to make it sound like it comes from some mysterious intelligence. My opinion of the video was not based on my like or dislike of Trump. I am not one of those who deny everything stated by Trump. When I saw the manipulation of the statements [by producers], I decided it was not worth continuing to watch. Perhaps it may have been entertaining and I might watch it at another time with that in mind.

I do indeed believe it was entirely possible [and likely] that the virus escaped from the lab but I have seen much better supportive evidence than this video {at least up until the spot I watched to}. The concept that it was released or seeded purposefully is something I have not seen any solid evidence of.

Hopefully this is clear enough for you to understand my reasoning.

So, I guess those of you who didn't watch the full show did not see the part where they said that COVID-19 has zero ability to infect bats (which proves that it did not come directly from a bat)...
It actually gets pretty 'sciency' halfway through.

oh come on, Trump has about 5 to 10 minutes, there are scientists who are part of the story, there are studies cited and shown. Trump is 1 small part of the documentary. its 1 and a half hours, trump as 5 to 10 minutes, all the rest is way more interesting, how you could get stuck at Trump bogles the mind, when the story it's self is so much more interesting then just who thinks its true and who doesn't.

they didnt say the bats can't get sick from it, they said the bats cant be given it. its not transmissible to bats, so bats can't get it to pass it around in their shit.

CHOP’s Center for Applied Genomics Receives Funding to Study Risk of Disease Specifically in African Americans

"CHOP’s Center for Applied Genomics (CAG) is one of the sites that will receive funds as part of the eMERGE Network. An eMERGE funding recipient for the past 8 years, CAG is the largest pediatric biorepository in the United States and has always focused on minority and underserved populations, with racial and ethnic minorities constituting the majority of its samples. African Americans represent about 90% of the whole genome sequence data CAG has contributed to eMERGE to date."

Too many rabbit holes. I may just have to let this one go unexplored for now...

No, it means I had too much Wild Turkey 101:yummy:

Careful there, Hempy. I'm sure you're aware of the corrupted relationship between the liquor industry's lobbyists and the US and various state governments, as well as the -well- known fact that alcohol is unsafe for human consumption, causing birth defects, esophageal damage, stomach ulcers, traffic deaths, rotted organs, addiction & dementia, as well as being correlated to greater domestic violence, theft, and violence in general. I suspect you'd be MUCH safer with a vaccine from Moderna.

Well, I definitely don't wanna catch me one of those birth defects.

Are you certain you didn't already?

I was literally born dead, yet through the miracles of modern medical science, such as that which made the mRNA vaccines possible, the good French Philippine Doc who saved me, gifted me with decades of misery contracted through head-banging my way through senseless discussions, and the resulting ability to converse in pointless ramblings on these boards. Halle-fucking-lujah!!

Was that the same "modern medical science" that birthed Zyclon B? Hempy was born Yellow (jaundice).

No, I believe Zyklon B was a pesticide that involved cyanide. The Germans were responsible. Not medical science, per se'.

Now, IUDs and Vioxx, those were examples of brain farts from the medical science field. We all have our off days, Hempy. I once grew a plant that turned brown. It was OK, though. No one smoked very much of it.

Yes, Hempy, I can believe you were born jaundiced. I have no doubt that you were born an over-comer or over-achiever. Your life's traumas clearly may have contributed to an OCD approach to the pursuit of mysteries and conspiracies, even where none seem to exist. Currently, however, I often question the direction of (apparently) circular logic you're running in. Is it dizzying? I mean, without the high-test Wild Turkey.

By the way, the only reason I ever found to actually drink Wild Turkey, of any proof rating, was that Hunter Thompson allegedly drank the stuff. Otherwise, I recommend tequila, preferably reposado, of good quality, and organic if possible. Less confusion, a more upbeat drunkenness. Like an up-lifting Sativa, compared to a couch-lock Indica. Less stupor, and more invigorating. But then, I was blessed to grow up around people who were prone to demonstrating all the reasons not to drink. The silver lining inside every cloud, as it were.

The chemist who invented Zyclon B (as a pesticide) was killed in the Nuremberg trials. He was innocent. The worst Nazis were allowed, or helped, to escape.
What is a good Reposado (recommendation)?

Silver, or 'blanco' tequila is more or less fresh from the vat, unaged. Anejo is golden, aged tequila, sometimes aged for long periods, sometimes acquiring enough flavor from the aging/barrel that it can -almost- taste like a bourbon with a more mellow finish (I dislike bourbon), often golden in color from the barrel, as I understand it. Reposado is a more briefly aged tequila, lighter in color than an anejo, but more character than a silver or 'blanco'..
