I'm getting some leaf claw in about 10 - 15% of the plants. Maybe I amended too much N? On the entire mix I only used 2 lbs of blood meal and a few lbs of oyster shell (not powdered -- I used all the powdered stuff on last year's guerilla grow and only had pellets left) along with a few other things that were 2 or less for their N value.
But it would make sense. Their roots are filling out that bottom layer of super soil right now, just as bud development is starting to set in. They never really had a chance to use all that N down there. My bad. Hopefully with the next watering I can establish a fungal-dominant environment in there and limit some of the N fixing that's going on with the bacteria.
The good news is that I think my soil is finally done cooking
