Worst drying/curing advice that you still see people going by?

So you're saying secretly we all know and agree on processes but no one shares the knowledge out of fear cartels will use it??
With legalization there has been opportunity to research it and it is mostly figured out. Dry at 16 °C/60 % rH. 2-3 day to quickly drop the water activity sufficiently to prevent mold, then slower over 7-10 days till water content is constant.

Maybe it will change again after big corporations can participate and bring over methods from hops drying. That is a very similiar plant, produced for aroma but their process takes just a day. They use higher temperatures but retain the flavour.

I think he's just saying there are people here in this thread who have more knowledge than they're laying out in black and white.

Not anyone specifically - and surely many who've never even been to this site - has learned things which are not common knowledge, and don't like the idea of others making money off of something they could post on the internet.

THCA has been crystallized. It's sold as "THCA Diamonds".

I have asked for yet never seen any pictures of any crystalline isolate. The terp sauce diamonds appear to be shatter - an amorphous glass - with a different name, and I'm unaware of what the analyses of them are but it wouldn't be a surprise if they include something other than THCA. I have referred to my own THCA extract as crystalline in the past because well it's pretty close, but I didn't look under a microscope and technically this is incorrect.

Pictures of crystalline enzymes are much easier to find.

Crystalline has a precise definition. That ain't it. I'm less sure that said analysis is typical.

That's the best know protocol and I along many others use it... if we can keep parameters in check. BTW 16/60 will determine the speed of drying, you can't dry more quickly under the same parameters unless you add a fan o.s.
Despite many using this protocol, some swear by it, others say it's utter rubbish.
That is what I'm talking about...

Do you have a for sure northeast Ohio cut from the early 2000’s?

I live in the area, we laugh in private at a lot of people that think they have “the deathstar”

Don’t take my word for it. This is the real deathstar plant.
Here's my old cut. Took me a minute to find pics.
Now, a friend of mine a bit north of me had a "Death Star" cut that I think may have actually been Dumpster, judging by the flowers and smell/taste combo. But I'm pretty certain that I held the legit Ohio Death Star. Skunky, rank, dense nugs.

Ah but no one is smoking hops - the same process used on cannabis might be a harsh smoke, yet full of aroma chemicals.

Using premade enzymes with cannabis is already being done on an industrial scale for a few years now, by Herbolea and their friends. And they are using the same plan for hops. But they are not spraying buds for a fast cure - this is all for THCA/CBDA/terpene extraction purposes, solventless environmentally friendly yadda yadda. Patent application WO2018/130682-A1 uses fresh or dry material of different species.

I'd think that extracts would be preferred by corporations, as it's much easier to grow plants covered with mold, bugs, bacteria, pesticides and so on.

The whole western thinking is wrong. It’s, find a natural source of “medicine” find the single active ingredient, synthesize it and profit.

Cannabis doesn’t have a single active ingredient.

Tell a fat fucker to stop eating. They will take the skinny pill, liposuction, the knife or fun fair contact lenses before they ditch the kebab. Most people actually need saving from themselves. Most of them.

Alison Justice was nice to watch. Seems single from her crush on a coworker. It must be hard for her to find an equal.

Fat people now are crazy. Telling a fat patient their issues are weight related is fat phobic now.
