Dave, next time, maybe make a limit to how many entries a single user can submit? (just a suggestion)
i think a few people let it get to their headsthe point here people, is to create a catchy and effective slogan, not try to come up with anything that you could, that wasn't already used...

i mean, some of the shit i saw in this thread was rubbish, and i do not mean the guy who came and made 2 or 3 posts, i'm talkin about the people who posted like 40 times in every font available some of the worst slogans i have ever heard (from a marketing major's perspective) and i've heard a lot of CRAP out of the mouths of clueless people in marketing 101 classrooms.

i don't know, just makes it harder for the person making the decisions to do his job, and SUCKS for the modest cat who pokes his head in with the best damn entry of all, and it gets looked over because it was between 16 posts by some asshole kid hoping to score free gear cuz mommy said "NO" really gripes my ass....

Im posting this not as an IC member, or as a guy who posted a lot of slogans, but as an adverticement profetional... (thats what i do for a living)

I dont agree with you Captain, there are many different ways to get to the point of original creation or as others say the creative process.... and 1 way is called storm of ideas. And can be a very usefull one...

It helps the creative, (the members posting here) and the vendor (homebox). It helps getting new ideas with the posts other guys give out... it dosnt means its a way to steal the idea from someone, but to make a stronger punch out of mixing the ideas of a few other creatives...

Some will be crap, of course, there has to be crap, but some others will be genious, for this and for any other thing... So limitating the ammound of posts, its like limitating the ammound of imagination anyone can have for this kind of contest...

in my experience on this field, i have seen in focus groups, the best slogans used by different brands... and i feel this was quite similar to a focus group, and you cannot ask the people in a focus group to shut up, and only say the smartest thing they can think of...


just my 2 cents... and nothing personal at you jack!!

Hi ya Captain Jack!

Well...actually that photo is one that I already had inn my gallery here so I used it to show the tent. Here's a pic of the box I had made to act as a nursery/mother room.
My current crop consist of Bubblegum, Five Star, C99, and Pure Skunk. I'll try and post a pic soon for you if you like.

I hope everyone stays cool and remembers that this contest is supposed to be fun all the way through to the announcement of the winner. I personally had one hell of a good time reading all the entries!

Hello everybody and good morning from England!

The pricipals (bosses) from Eastside-Impex (the makers of the wonderful HOMEBOX Herbal Grow Tent, are presently involved with their last decisions regarding the winner of the contest.
I will be posting that persons name as soon as I have the notification from Eastside-Impex which should be in the next few hours sometime. They are being very careful to select just the right slogan, and are being understandably cautious since there were so many great entries!

If you're planning on holding your breath...at least make sure your lungs are full of primo smoke!
