Nah, see you got it twisted.

I'm smart because I'm young and have a realistic business sense.

You view your business as: I do something and something "unexpectedly" bad happens and now you gotta come up with the money.

I'm smart: I factor in the legal factor into profits vs costs. 20 grand isn't "nothing", but its something I realize is necessary if you're going to be doing the scale of what I said previously. If you're that big, factoring 5 pounds over multiple harvests into your legal safety net is just smart. So you harvested 100 pounds, 6 of those pounds (one harvest) goes towards your infinite legal defense; to greedy or stupid to use it?

Does your "collective", with your 6000sqft greenhouse have a lawyer on retainer? Well, if you don't... you reap what you sow.

Actually, we have a couple on retainer--:)
I am talking about ppl (Ask the Babba's about it--) that get rolled for their personal grow...that have to spend that $$...just to prove their innocence--

And that's all folks....Only 46% in the end rather than the 51% simple majority needed. Breakdown based on recollection: 53% registered Dems, 46% Ind's and only 29% Reps...Mostly older Rep's tanked the bill as well as a too little too late spending endorsement by Sorro's.... Give it 5-10 years imo.

Anyhoo, the Emerald Triangle (geographically, primarily a "No" vote) can continue collecting $3k an elbo for the time being.... Peace out.

Please don't be pessimistic about this!
Think of it like this: Prop19 had 46% support, just 5% more and it would have passed. I honestly believe if it were written more eloquently that more people would have supported it and it would have passed. Giving up is not the option. Optimism and persistence is the key. People need to get behind a new law, something more open and more agreeable to everyone. Prop19 was hurt by the large rep turnout for nov2nd, but I think it failed mostly because of the split in the "pothead" vote... if we could all agree on a new proposition then it will be passed in 2012 for sure.

The dynamic is changing here in the USA. I don't watch TV but my roomate was flipping through the channels yesterday and I happened to catch a cannabis documentary on the history channel, and later on adult swim was advertising a hemp tycoon computer game they just came out with... images of pot leafs everywhere on TV... that alone is a huge step forward from what we used to have (it was basically taboo, you'd never see those things really).

The public is becoming more and more accepting towards weed. Maybe someone should tell tea party members that it was actually required by law in many late 1700s US colonies to grow hemp if you owned land. :joint:
