Yo guys,
Update time!

Goldenseed! Cheers my friend - here you go :D

3 Big Sur Haze, 16 days, 1.4 liter pot - just transplanted.
I've got a Dream Goddess going as well... :D

Jahwi's Joy, 15+2 weeks (107 days) - I'll chop her on 16 full weeks...

And my new queen #1 :D

A5 x Thai, 38 days, 1.4 liter pot, 28 cm high

I've got another A5 x Thai female, same age, but much more compact.
I'll decide what to do with them along the road.
The tall one will probably go under the net when she's ready for the next tranplant :headbange
I really want to try scrogging an untopped plant.

OT Haze x SWT#3, 12+4 weeks (88 days), still a few weeks left.
Bottled nutes just aint something for me and my ~7.5+pH tap water... :(

Malawi Gold, 3 days :D

Jahwi's Joy #2 (fresh 2008 seeds from Ghana!)
From another farmer than the previous one...

Take care everybody ! :joint:

They need some ventilation, thats for sure.

A 12v 120mm PC fan run at 7-9volts should do it, if your cab is not ultra-small.

It looks like the right ballast to me :)

jrw :headbange great looking plants! sativas are my favorite

got a question - i can see that on the jahwi joy that you topped twice? and then once you got to the screen you lst-d the stems along the screen ? how long of a veg would be needed to fill up a screen that size with your methods? really interested in doing individual scrog screens on big coco buckets and want to lst along the screen like that, bending stems horizontally like that produces a shitload of nodes (could be useful on low yielding sativas?)

thanks a lot!

I may use these lights horizontal between a row of plants on each side. Maybe 2-4 lamps. Basically like 8 or 10, 4" square pots in 2 rows, and the lights being a wall inbetween. SOG style. I'm just kinda wondering about ventilation, and how close you can get the light to the plants, and basically almost touch the whole plant, and it can easily penetrate threw the plant, and to the wall.

Wow, I just seen your bonsai mom/computer... I made that picture my desktop. Definitely nice style.

Jahwi's Joy came down last week :p

Now I need to start not smoking for a week and do some running, to clear my mind and body.
Getting ready for some 3 weeks cured african weed :joint:

This is the plant I've ever grown, that makes me the proudest :D

Take care...

Goldenseed, I'll post a full Oregon Purple Thai x Panama Red update.

Nice - rep your way for keeping a wild sativa in bondage for 16 weeks :) I hope the smoke will be well worth the wait.

Glad to hear that guys :D

I'v just situated my untopped 50 days old A5 x Thai under the screen.

I plan on having four of these individual scrogs up and running within the next month (it's a sweet way of growing).
A5 x Thai
Jahwi's Joy #2 (2008 version)
Malawi Gold
Big Sur Haze or Malawi Spice x Lemon Thai or Molokai Frost

Now that the training and handling is settled, I need to start tweaking my soilmix.
Still lots to learn :joint:

Cured buds and all...

Im excited to see them Buds and stuff....did you smoke the senior garcia already? if so how´s it?

I think the Malawi Spice is not really suited for a scrog in your situation...i think it has to be vegged a good time for that. The Malawi Spice is Malawi Gold x Orange Spice and if the Lemon Thai is that Lemon Thai i think it will not grow like a Thai landrace at all...so maybe consider the Big Sur Haze or the Molokai Frost for scrog action.Didnt you germ the Big Sur Haze already?

Have a nice day!! Goldenseed

Yeah, germed 3 Big Sur Haze, all came up, two males after 25 days 12/12, one is dying from transplant-chok right now :(

From my research the Malawi Spice x Lemon Thai (as it was labeled) will flower for 14+ weeks, strechting enough for scrogging, but you got me thinking otherwise :D

Molokai Frost sounds good...

Maybe you did more research on the strain than me....14+weeks sounds more than made for a scrog....so you may try it.....i was more under the impression that its a 10-12 weeker wiht a more indi stature..but as i said i didnt really do much research....so go for it....i mean theres not much to loose in the end...worst thing would be an unfilled scrog screen.

Talk to you soon...Goldenseed

Breederbrad, my friend. Thanks for stopping by :D

Goldenseed, here is the lineage of the Malawi Spice x Lemon Thai as far as my research goes:
(Landrace Malawi x Orange Spice (Double G (G13HPx GUM13) x White Widow (Brazilian x Indian))) x Lemon Thai

I came up with the same lineage and i tought all that G13 and Hashplant stuff in it could make it useless for scrog....also i think they used a "Dutch Flowers" Lemon Thai and this one is nothing like a pure Thai more like a Skunk hybrid. Some Lemon Thai pics:

Hope i could help a bit...gotta roll me a spliff...see ya
