My wife and I do everything together. I help her, she helps me. I put the seat up when I pee, she puts it down when she pees. I cook and wash dishes when I'm not working, she does the same when she's not working.

After working together for 10 years to have a great relationship... it's disgustingly obvious to see folks that haven't. *sigh*

Work -with- your mate, in the long run you'll be a LOT happier. That's being honest with each other and actively working to understand and work well with them. Yeah... it's a lot of work but it's worth it. Totally awesome what we have together.

OH goddamn...man that is weak shit! Sorry ladies but every time I have tried to be the nice guy, I end up walking away from the house with my clothes, going to the phone booth, calling a friend for a ride, renting a truck to move my shit, and being alone again. That idea of not having a set around women goes exactly no fucking where and the only way to get control back is to kick ass...and I am against that - I got daughters! I was siting in an Englewood,Co. bar (back in the week end drinking days - don't drink any now) talking to this red headed chick I knew. She sipped beer all day telling me how she wanted to meet a knight in shining armor and all that bs. All of a sudden, a biker slides his hog up to the door, she leaves her purse and cigarettes on the bar, jumps on the back and goes off and finally comes back just as the place was closing - smelling like she went and did the whole club house... yeah...knight in shining armor - BS! I finished her beer for her since it was getting warm and she was pouring it into a glass.....bar keep took her stuff and put it up... what a bunch of bullshit!

Ive got a younger woman, and so Im the one who knows how to do everything. Thats the way I like it. I like to provide so she can subside. She has a good job, and a decent body, and we share interests... but she definitely doesn't do anything I can;t do. I miss having a woman who could blow my mind with cooking, and did things without being asked too.

Its always a compromise. She's learning.. I train her hard. ONe day she might even surpass me who knows, I think woman are capable.

I don't think it is sexist at all, because in our society, woman have always been the cook, maid, caretaker.....societal roles, that we play to this day. I personally think I am a better cleaner, than TOH, but he can grill his ass off. The only real problem is that he has that caveman mentality, that what ever he is doing, is man work, so it supercedes any work, that I am doing which is woman work......and I invariably drop what I am doing to help him. Societal roles!!!! We have been together for 11 years now, so we are a pretty well oiled machine...but he has his caveman moments for sure!!!!! Have a good one, and stay HIGH, it's better than being lOw!!!!
