Why all the bad news about LR #2?

I picked LR#2 because of the fast finish 9 weeks from seed to weed. I'm 1 day short of 9 weeks... no buds no triches no hairs. Shes 20 inches and a prety solid looking bush.. Im not knocking it as yet, its my first grow its pobably down to something I have done wrong, but damn I wish i was smoking by now.

maybe you got the wrong seeds. they should start budding around week 3 if its lr2
sometimes cold temps can delay flowering too

I'd switch that plant to 12/12. If you are at 9 weeks and it's not flowering then it certainly is not LR2. It will need a proper photo period to flower.
Where did you get the seeds from? They must have sent the wrong seed, or they got mixed up somehow.

They were in lowrder#2 packaging in a plastic tube. like this

I got them from seedsman.com

As I say the whole reason I got them was for the fast turn around.. Im weedless untill she finishes.

I think I'll flip them to 12/12.. even if they would eventualy autoflower I might be old and grey by that time. Should i go straight to 12/12 or bring it down slowly ?

I really enjoyed my Lr#2's. Bad yield but it was my fault. It was number of things, number one being complete lack of care as I was more concentrated on my seedlings for OD at the time,hehehe.....

...anyway they went 74 days and had a really decent taste, and nice high. I will try again and give em some proper care/conditions this time....

Hey, I also tell everyone I can: Do yourself a favor and don't think the netting on the outside of jiffy pots will just magically burst free and let roots grow through it easily. I have always had bad luck when I leave that stuff on. IMHO, it is better to expand the puck, plant the seed in it, rip off the netting, and plant the puck in soil. Did you do this one on purpose? It looks like you just laid the jiffy pot on top of the soil.

I grew out Lowryder 1 and was less than impressed. I don't think I'll ever be trying Lowryder 2, but Stoner4life's Lowryder 3 looks interesting. Just might be a big enough step away from the original to keep me satisfied.

I grow and smoke LR2 and lived in Oregon for about 20 years where i smoked only the kindest of bud. I think most people will tell you this weed or that weed is not that good for the same reason a ten year old boy with a t shirt on will tell you hes not cold in December. I have for the most part stopped commenting on this site because most people offer little to no info that they didn't pull out of their ass. But yes LR2 is wonderful. It can be a bit intense and give you the jittery energy but its good weed.
Wile I'm on the site i want to say that most of you make the grow experience way more complicated then it needs to be. Plant the seed. water. Harvest. You don't have to re pot, flush, fertilize, switch lights, pray to the weed gods, Or anything. For the love of got people. Its a plant. NO, its a weed. Most of you have all these problems and cant figure out its all the crap you put yourself and the damn plant though that causes them.

Any who. Ya LR2 is good bud.

If it wont flower automatically. then guess what! Its not an auto flower. Some one is flooding the market with fake LR2s. I don't even turn off my lights and they flower at 20 days on the dot.

smoked lr2 about 1year ago found it goreguss to smoke real nice buzz the flav was awesome my special freind did 15 and he got two runts the rest was ok but then again my freind bought another 15 and only one germed bummer so hes lost the bottle to get some more lr2 he did say he was gona get some white buddas have to catch up but for me lr2 was so nice buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

yep lr2 gets my vote any day if it were more stable it would be more popular the time my freinds did this it was such a lovely smoke citrus lemons the aftertaste was devine my freinds house smelt like a candy shop

I got some LR#2F2 seeds earlier this year...a large proportion of runts in the mix...but they were f2 seeds and to be expected...I have just harvested my LR#2F4 seeds and the bud is drying as I type...
All the buds harvested were superb smoke...very fruity and an uplifting high that also helped a great deal with my joints and muscle twitches...
I suffer grand mal's with some regularity without weed, petit mal's with less frequency and less intensity/faster recovery time when smoking weed, and when smoking LR#2 buds F2 and onwards the pitit mal's are almost nonexistant and I almost get a 'spidey sense' moment just before petit mal's hit.

I've read SOooo many neg opinions of LR#2's...yet my experience is nothing but good. It depends on what you expect of it and luck of the draw I suppose...

I've done it once, it's not without it's charm, but the 'bad news' I think was just a few lackluster grows that were done and shown when it was first released, it's actually a pretty good cross. It quickly got overshadowed by the crosses released shortly after it, so I think it just kind of fell off popularity wise...

(posting a pic like that isn't going to help people think of LR #2 any better! haha...so tiny. frosty than a b though... I bet it was a nice 4 hits!)

i think we can bury and kill this old rumor that auto strains give no buzz only a headache once and for all now.

havent grown the LR#2 but ive grown some other autos that blew my mind tbh. wasnt the headiest ive tried but it wasnt the worst either.

hey billymac..was wondering how the poison dwarfs went...getting ready to germ them soon.Any suggestions on this strain?...I will be using 2 gallon pots-Foxfarm ocean forest soil...I will be using mostly sunshine to grow them out in a backyard grow style..but I will also be supplementing with a "good" led most likely a 120watt one.Just to be sure the plants are getting at least 18 hours of light. I plan on using Technoflora's recipe for success which includes B.C grow bloom and boost,Thrive Alive green and red,Root 66,MagiCal and Awesome blossoms.I plan on adding some new great white sharke micorrizae fungi-anyways was wondering if you thought I should keep the light cycle for this strain at 18 or can I bump it up to 20 on and 4 off but still maintain plant vitality and good health with increased yeild?...anyone else want to chime in would be great too
