The frost level is insane on those plants, no doubt they would make some great hasch plants
What I would trade for that NL seed or a cut. Very nice. That first photo, man what a fat mama. Stellar work my friendHere are the Type II/Indica leaves of my reverse engineered Northern Lights. I think it's safe to say there was a _little_ Afghan history in the creation of NL :

But NL is definitely not pure Type II/Indica, like they used to say in the '90s:

Doesn't look much like a Type II/Indica, does it?
And before you young, smart Millennial whipper-snappers comment on either over-watering or over-fertilizing, you always have to keep in mind the _environment_ the plant/photo is in _before_ you make snap judgments and comment.
Posted this pic in the how do you sativa people do it in a 4x4 thread in the forum we don't talk about, and one of the "elder experts" there expressed his opinion that I was either over-watering or over-fertilizing my plants.
Btw, the temperature inside the tent when I took this shot was in the mid-30s Fahrenheit and the RH was in the '90s, hence the clawed leaves.
I ain't saying I've got the _best_ Afghan, and I've never sold shit to anybody, so nobody could get it anyways. But being the proud Papa I am, I'd like to think that _my_ shit is better than everybody else's.
But unlike the typical NL, it definitely _stinks_.
It's funny because in the Big Book of Buds it actually states that it was crossed with Afghan...Here are the Type II/Indica leaves of my reverse engineered Northern Lights. I think it's safe to say there was a _little_ Afghan history in the creation of NL :

Afghaan 90 is excellent. It’s one of my favorite all time smokes. Really old school effects, doesn’t lay you out on the couch but the buzz is definitely Indica in nature. I wish I knew more about the origins of the line though, I think all we know is what is listed on the RSC website that it was acquired in Amsterdam in 1990 but I would love to know more such as what area in Afghanistan was it originally collected from and whenI have some Afghann 90 from the real seed company waiting to be popped..
Little bit on the description; (Dutch-American heirloom)
Pure Afgan indica type heirloom -direct from 1990 Dutch seed bank.
Fascinating write up on it for those who are interested in its lineage.
Hope to get them up and running after the summer, I'm also curious has any members got any experience with them.
Peace out...
I’ve got a grow journal on them and the rsc c99. It lost a few photos in the website migration, but all the info is still there. They grew very true to the rsc description. I still have 6 I want to use in crosses, they cross out very well too, I have a great afghan 90 x c99 I’ve been running lately that I almost always keep as personal smoke.I have some Afghann 90 from the real seed company waiting to be popped..

Hi befa,I can offer Balkh F4, Balkh F5 Ouzbé F16(very small quantity), balo x maruf, (balo x maruf)x balkh F4, (Balo x maruf)x ouzbé F15
These are the beginnings of work aimed at diluting hermaphroditism, so we decided to stack several afghans, here the hermis was the male Maruf (very weak 4 to 5 pistils at the very beginning of flo).
The last tests only on 10 beans (I know, but I couldn't throw more), were very conclusive for me, because zero hermis, and a structural improvement which passes however by an over assembly of this one, if not too columnar for my taste, but much remains to be observed and I don't have forcement more place for that before next year, so if anyone's interested, I'll give them a piece of my work, I'm just waiting for feedback and to say who you got it from if you're using it for your own projects, I don't mind if people want to do business, but be honest about where it comes from.
I just copped Yumboldt from Tony from the Sagarmatha site. He f-cking hooked it up, and sent em right away from where he is, which is far from me, but I'll say, he's a helluva guy. He provided more seeds than I ordered, and Yumboldt Regs, which I couldn't find anywhere, totally stokedWhatever happened to yumboldt? That used to be awesome afghani weed, very tasty too
