Here is Frozen..as you can see..it is not just one freaky bud..
they are all freaky..
pipeline..the males don't get long in the bathroom..
first..there was a queue..
second..once they pollenate..they stink like sweaty armpits..and I get yelled at..
so 2-4 days is the max..
EDIT* I have to chase that frozen pheno..
I have made my mind up..
It is bugging the hell out of me.
I haven't got a male to match...I have an AF male starting to show on the patio..but it has purple balls..
Frozen is a delicate Pink, Mink, ice cream colour..I think the purple would overpower her..
so it looks like the albino non-af male..
and just chase it..

4 non AF's.
I need my available space for AF's only.
I have a few real good non-af's already for select points.
I have seedlings of the planned crosses coming up now...so my numbers will grow..
IF I can get these girls harvested as I hit 12/12 natural light pattern..21st March..
and I could have them off the patio before say Mid April..I should be okay
but if they linger after that..I would be at silly levels.
So the cull starts now..and could get even more dramatic..if need be.
I HATE doing it though...

gotta do what you gotta do. if i was on a patio like yourself i would be keeping the number's down too. only got room for the best. that light colored purple one is the best looking one. she looks lovely. does she look like she has more frost then the real dark ones?

smOke..they are not really tric-d up yet but I am expecting more off her.
For some reason..she is making the hairs on the back of my neck prickle.
I have the feeling...she could be the most important one in the grow..I just haven't figured her out yet..but something is ticking at the back of my head.
I have taken a few clones today...which will give me a bit thinking time on her..

How far into flower should the female be to pollenated?

If you start males and fems into flower at the same time, the male will put out pollen long before any substantial buds form.. this will give you less, but generally larger and mostly ripe seed. Once pollination takes affect the plant stops making buds for the most part (indoors anyways) and unless it's a long flowering sativa, won't make much additional bud.

For the above reason I like to stagger my males, and put them into flower 2 weeks after the females.. Which roughly equates to pollination in the 3-4 wk of flower, depending on the males speed dropping pollen.. I find this gives me much more seeds overall, but slightly smaller (maybe 10%ish), and more immature seed at the end.. also, more smokable bud.

You can also pollinate preflowers on veg plants if you jus want a few seeds..

But if u have pollen ready, and are looking for seed production, i'd suggest pollinating at about 3-4 wks, which will give them exactly enough time to ripen in the 9 wk window..

If you jus want a few seeds, then it doesn't really matter when you do it, jus as long as you have about 30-40 days left and some white pistils.

and from what I am reading..I have a V good chance of being able to stabilise the phenos that I am trying to preserve..
we will see..

i found it intresting that he waits until 4 weeks bloom so the plant packs on a good amount of weed and hairs so theres more to get pollenated.

I just let em go and cut them down roughly 4 weeks from the projected end of bloom, but if you can get more pistils by allowing it to not be pollinated for a time, you may yield more seed, I don't know.........

Hmm..therein lies a story..
I bought it when NeedWeedSeed was still up and running.
It was an Original LowRyder cross..but I cannot remember what it was crossed with.
I have asked the lads that were at NWS with me..no-one can remember.
If I Google it..it brings me back to this thread..and the old thread at NWS. I cannot find any other references to it.

WAMEN..I replied to your personal addy..I know getting into heavy photod threads on dial up is a nightmare.
I had a bad batch compo..I had to re-seed.
Only 1 seed of the 'siders germed..but it is fine.
I got new compo and re-seeded about 4days ago..and they are all starting to poke their heads up.
Keep yer fingers crossed.
There..feel better now...

.bit stretch..bit of a lounger.but the translant should correct it...
(it IS out in a gale force wind..but you did have to see it didn't you... )
Good news too..the K'siders have germed no probs in new compo..
