my buddy and I were watchin the joint venture movie the other night and dopumentary, and we were wonderin, how much money do you think the kings make a year? i think in the last 3 years or so since they've became a lot more popular they've prolly been pulling in 100+-200k a year? i mean they dont sell a tonnn of albums but im sure suburban noize doesnt take as big of a cut of their profits say like capital did

Got K2K on torrents at fuckin 2am 6/6/06.

As someone who liked Joint Ventures, I was slightly dissapointed with k2k. Still good tunes , and it will probably grow on me as no. 7 did.

I would say they each clear about $150,000 a year, that would be my guess...

Remember, they make ALL their money off of ticket sales (GO TO THEIR SHOWS) and also on merch...

CDs don't make a ton of $$$....


Anyone watch the TV show "INKED" on A&E about Carey Harts tat shop in Vegas?? They have Big B on there a lot...He's a low cash MFer too. He drives an 88 Suburban, lowered on 20s and has a pretty cute wife and 2 kids...

Its a trip, they are far from rich. I imagine Kevin Zinger and Brad X (daddy x) make the majority of the $$$ to be had.

Yah I'm sure he does...He runs Subnoize, the other guys have shares in the company but Brad is the big cheese...

That means he gets a take of all the bands on the label, not just KMK, where the guys in KMK only get what they get for their shows/records etc (well each guy has something like 5% ownership of subnoize)

I don't think its him being greedy, just how it worked out...Kinda like how Zinger is the top of the SRH empire...

yeah they seem to be cool, i remember when chucky was startin to make the dgaf clothing line, he said he didnt care about all the stenciled DGAF shirts out there as long as people weren't out there slangin em trying to make money, so i could see them being cool about it, their message is being spread, and with how trendy they've become they prolly make some descent change now days

I was at the DMV rennewing my license and saw some 16 yr old kid and his mom, he was wearing a tight srh shirt. I doubt either him or his mommy had a clue as to the true meaning, or to the DGAF way of life.

Still, all of us, at some point didnt have a clue either.

I've been down with the Spade since 1996, before the kings even had a record or SRH even sponsored them.

I used to race motocross and I sent SRH my resume when they first opened...Zinger hooked me up fat, boxes of free shirts and hats and pants, etc...

If it wasn't a security risk I'd post pics of me at 16 w/SRH spades everywhere...

SO yah Ive been spaded and faded and jaded since late 1996...Ten Years Deep mofo's...

I didn't listen to KMK until late 1998, after I stopped racing. My pal showed me Royal Highness, I liked it and saw the SRH logo on the cover and was stoked that Zinger and Carter were helping them. I've been a hardcore fan ever since.

i actually asked my homies from last laugh if they cared about people burning cds of theirs and giving them to friends (i made 100 promo cds, with labels on them advertising a party bus i was taking to a kings show, and passed 'em out at parties) or making their own shirts, they said subnoize don't really care as long as your not making money off it...which never happens, i always end up shellin' out about $300 extra for the bus ($1000 for the bus, and $700 alcohol, hard to get people to throw that kinda bread)

although i'm sure they were pissed when no.7 got leaked a few weeks before release on torrents...

yep overall good weekend, besides running out of herb, but i got over it lol, the topless hotties in thongs on the saddle right above me and i picked up saints new album (couldnt d/l it and put it on my ipod out there) and got trashed off some heineken, couldnt of asked for much more... it was a trip at one of the rest stops on the way to vegas, all buses had to pull over to it to get inspected, tons of CHP's, ive never seen something like that i wonder why they do that

2 reasons:

1) DOT Safety inspections on the buses
2) Dopers are well known to smuggle shit on buses...

When yer medical, you got no worries about the CHP, they will hand you your recco and say have a nice day (if you're not medicating while driving, thats still a DUI)
