They were just near me this past weekend. I didn't go though.

Between you, me, and whoever else reads this thread, I absolutely HATE their music. The only reason you would ever find me at one of their shows is to chill in the back and smoke with a bunch of other people. :woohoo:

their music over the last few years ive been liking less and less, but they definently have one of the best live shows, its just a huge party. I still support em and like listenin to them though, but lately ive been listenin to more ska raggae type vibes like pepper, slightly stoopid, the expendables....all some pretty good shit

It all depends on taste I guess. I like them only for their music and have yet to go to one of their shows.

Im a socal native though, some of their shit just hits home with me. Backyard parties and killa fuckin smoke year round.

I have been to about 11-12 shows now...They absolutely kick ass live!!

I agree, as they age, they are kinda losing their creative drive IMHO.

My favorite album is still "High Society" with "Hidden Stash II" being 2nd and "Rollin Stoned" 3rd. No 7 is OK but its kinda trendy around my parts, and its not the same level of verbal skill as the earlier albums....

Either way, KMK is 100% down for cannabis and the movement, so I give them mad props, and all the guys are hella cool when you meet them, still very humble in person.

I don't know about you guys, but I see the Kottonmouth Kings doing a lot more harm to the marijuana movement then for it. Don't get me wrong, it's not it's happening intentionally. But whenever I'm driving around or go to a party it's always the dumbest motherf*ckers there who are rocking their "spade" sticker on their car or some other KMK bumpersticker. They've turned smoking into a fad that can be "grown out of" instead of a hobby or a medicine that needs to be taken seriously. That on top of the whole "SRH" (stoners reeking havoc) thing. First of all, wreaking starts with a "w". Secondly, if you ever want to see weed legalized, it's probably best that we stoners didn't cause any havoc.

SRH really means "Support Radical Happenings"

But Stoners Reeking Havoc happened to work out as well...

This is straight from Zings mouth circa 1997 or so, I used to talk to him on an almost daily basis when I was racing for them.

Even if they are getting dumbasses to smoke, more dumbasses is still better than no dumbasses, LOL...The more people that smoke, the more it changes more peoples minds...

Down with reefer madness.

i love the kottonmouth kings if you cant tell by the name. i've been listening to them since i was about 10 years old even before i smoked. they are my all time favorite band. got about every cd they put out. been to a few of their concerts and talked to richter and lou dogg. try to get them to sign my zong but didn't get the chance. my brother smoked with d-loc a few times too.

I'm going to one of their shows soon.

I passed a joint on stage at the last show during intermission between songs and d-loc said to the crowd "Wow, this guy got some bomb ass weed"
I felt so honored...
haha

I do agree most of the audience there are idiots, I still like their music and style though. Mostly their new stuff, No. 7 and Koast II Koast are my favorite albums.

I even like SRH stuff, just not alot of the people that associate with the culture of it...

Hehe... Sounds cool Natural.

I smoked a J that Daddy X gave me backstage once, it was dank too.

They always appreciate heady nug kick downs... Big B is a favorite to kick to, he always shows love.

Nope i cant say i picked it up, i definently fell out of the kmk scene now. The only time i ever bump it now is royal highness or high society, which are my favorite albums by them anyways. Im not sure if kingspade will be worth it, i'd like to see a song with only richter and saint dog though, i think they have much better style and flow.

high society is such a kickass cd

thats about it though for me I honestly think that was their best what about you guys?

i'd like to see a song with only richter and saint dog though, i think they have much better style and flow..........I have to agree with you there.ive always thought high society was good, but not their best.Im getting to the point now 2,where i wont even wear their merch.dont get me wrong kmk are still some of the coolest people ive ever met,but they need to get back intouch with their roots, theyre music hasnt been the same for sometime now.Honestly i would rather have 1 kickass cd from them as opposed to 5 in a year.I have to say 1 thing tho,the bowl richter is holdin looks like mine, :chin: :chin: :joint: which brings me to the conclusion that in some way they are lerking through these good ic forums.but i could be wrong,im not friends with them, and the only way they couldve seen it was through this site, unless 1 of em blew the peice themselves.ok enough ranting, off 2 smoke the rest of the widow my friend was generous enough to gift me,peace
