white russian/chronic/hashberry grow

I just got my 600 hps the other day. I can't wait to hook that thing up with the horilux bulb!! I'm hoping to get 8 oz. off this grow. I figure with 600 watts and 8 plants I should make it. What do you guys think?

I already know it's gonna get bushy as hell in their. Like I said, the space is only 45 inches x 23 inches. I wonder how long I should veg them for??? Right now they are between 6 inches and 8 inches tall. I know I'm definitely gonna let them root the containers they're in for atleast another week or two before the switch. Atleast all of the strains are supposed to stay really short.

Any opinions or suggestions would be cool.

Looking good don chocolate! I'm getting some russians myself soon....

From what I have seen with both AK7 and white russian they both have sativa pheno's and looks like ya might have a couple by the look of some of the leaves there.

The Hashberry looks prodeminately indica so I doubt it will stretch that much, but have'nt grown it out so don't really know. They have a forum here I think though, the hashberry dudes that is...

As I have'nt grown any of em out myself I can't comment on flip height for sure....

Gonna catch the show from here on man :lurk:

CiaO!

Thanks for stopping in Mampi.

Out of the 10 russians I started out with, 2 seemed to be the more sativa pheno They were always lankier and taller than the rest. I kept one of them (the one 2 pics up^^^^) and gave the other away. Most of them are the same height. The only difference is some are alot bushier than the others. As of right now, I'd say I got 3 phenos. I tried to keep atleast one of each type. :yummy:

hey don, checking in again and they're still looking great! How have your temps been affected since switching to the 600w? Are you still using the batwing reflector or going to air cooled?

I hear you on the nute burn front. I think it depends a lot on the pheno too. In my current grow I fed 1tsp/gal to my two tall, lanky plants and 2tsp/gal to the squat, bushy one. Despite the double dose, the bushier plant sucked it up and is growing like crazy while the other two are growing well but burning on most tips - live and learn I guess. I cant imagine going to a full tablespoon for the two taller ones.. it would burn the hell out of them.

Cured I still haven't hooked up the 600. I'm still waiting on the hortilux bulb I ordered to come in. It should've been in today really. I don't think temps will be a problem. Even if they are, the house I grow in doesn't have anyone living in it so I can drop the a/c down some if needed. I installed an oversized a/c unit on the house when the last one went down. That way if I do have to drop the temp down it won't run forever before it shuts off.

Just for the record, the t-stat is set at 70F in the house. And the max temp at canopy level is around 87F.

Mampi I was gonna wait another week or two before the switch but now looking at them today I'm pretty sure I better switch them as soon as I get that 600 hortilux in the mail! :biglaugh:

What's up guys??

Time2Unite No I haven't! I emailed the company yesterday and today they emailed back that the bulb is on back order and won't get to them until Friday or Monday. :nono: What pisses me off is for over a week now their websight has said it was shipped... but obviously it wasn't!!! And they can't wait to be flowered any longer.

Day 1 12/12

Day 1 12/12

So here they are on their first day of flowering.

First off is the hashberry

Next is the two chronics

Now this one never has seemed to snap out of the rootboundness it had before transplant. Fuck it though... it's just more room for everyone else. 'Cause it's gonna get crowded as nutz in there

Day 1 12/12

Next is the 5 white russians

plant 1

plant 2

plant 3

plant 4

Now when I transplanted this last russian all the tops seemed to get real yellow but didn't seem to harm or slow any growth. It's probably some crazy def maybe, but my first instinct is tellin' me the growth was so rapid the chlorophyl couldn't keep up! :yoinks: It's gotten most of its color back now but believe me it was yellow as a school bus! :biglaugh:

plant 5

Day 9 12/12

Day 9 12/12

 What's up everyone? I finally got the 600 hortilux and installed it today. So here's sum quick pics. All of them are of the russians except the last pic which is the hashberry.

????????

????????

Anybody wanna take a guess as to what the yellowed out tops are all about??? :chin: It's the only one doing it and it's the shortest one in the bunch. So heat stress is probably out. Sum are showing slight signs of overfert so maybe it's an overfert.

Anyway, it doesn't seem to be slowing down any growth.
