If u dont know what ur doing just ask for the ma5ijuana mix at home depot. Some call it cannabis soil mix. :)

Makr sure u mention male and femalr plants and big yields and organics cause you will prob end up smoking lots of it yourself:) be clear thats its not all about the money. Mainly money bitches and some top buds for yourself.

Mike - that's funny - if you look back to the post I made - you'll see that is exactly what I recommended as a medium for planting in the ground...even gave the ratios to use.

Seems some of us have done this sort of thing before...hehehe. ;)

Thats why I like this place. U get real good knowledge from cool people who actually take time from their lives to help others for nothing other than karma.

I could care less about the "karma" - I want people to be able to produce truly high quality meds. For every single person growing and producing good quality cannabis - that is one more person helping overgrow prohibition and another small dent in the cartel import that fuels the repression and slaughter of many...

Good vibes sourpuss. Glad you find IC to be helpful!

Maybe I can connect to this thread. I have a different approach where I want to bring in starting fertilizer which contains 6% of slow release nitrogen npk 22 24 7 and dolomite. I would use it to enrich the soil, which is already of great quality. I wanted to dig 10 gallon holes and mix it in there. I was thinking about putting like half a handful of dolomite and a handful of starting fertilizer. Would that be too much? I wanted to start working on these holes before I put out seedlings in april or may

A handful is not an accurate measurement...and no one can say whether or not that will be enough. What is the name of the fertilizer you are going to be using?

If you are using native soils - you will still need to add an aeration component.

Depending on how much heat you'll get during the summer - you may not have enough water retention, which is in part why things like peat moss are added to mixes. To keep them light yet increase retention...

If the plants have full sunlight...and you are putting them out in May - they are going to get rather large. 10 of amended earth is never going to carry them through the entire season.
