I dunno if its still around in "my" circles because I've been MIA for a couple months, but a certain cloner in Dago has (had?) the bullrider cut... I know cuz I helped him get it... lol

Anyway I just wanted to say YES, BR is around and YES its still stoney potent bad ass shit....

First let me say I am really glad this thread is still going!!! It should be because we need to get this bullrider out there again what do you say rob? well anyways bro I know you got that bombin BR, and I have my seed and clones of her now shes in four weeks flower doing nice. Hopefully she smokes nice and turns out like the original BR I am used to cuz I'd love to get her out there again.

Like I said I heard the BR guy who distributes all the BR in my area has been jailed. I heard this from a good friend who was friends with the grower. Well about two years ago my friend gave me like 20 bullrider seeds, they were huge just like other bullrider seeds I had pulled right out of br buds I had always gotten.

These are the buds that always came around, lemon scent, strong lemon, and I always thought it looked premie, except for the fact that the nugs were always enormous! I once saw a 18 gram spear, and I heard of ounce spears all the time just never got one. This shit always hit sooo bomb, it burned well, sadly I forget the taste right now but I would just have to say hashy.






Always looked like this when it came around, and it came around once every month or so. Well back to the seeds, for some reason every seed we grew out of these seed this kid gave me were mutated. By the fifth node they always looked like shit. Well finally we got a good seed, she looked soo gorgeous in veg(and still does) and we have many clones were flowering and vegging. I have one BR right now in flower at just hitting 4 weeks.

The thing with this BR girl we have now, she looked to be mutating when I put her into flower. But in a great way! The lower pre-calyxs were multiple calyxs instead of one, and it's like a whole different bud site where the pre-calyx should be making the branch fill out way more!!!!

I cannot wait til she is done, I am so excited, this is as close as I have come to running the real deal BR in my local area so here we go!!! Wish me luck at the end of the flower I will come back and post dry shots and smoke report! She is filling in DENSE I know this already and she is putting a lot of weight on, she wants to grow in spears, long spears, even the lower bud sites are turning into nice nugs! PEACE EVERYONE!

SPEAKING OF THE DEVIL, I just smoked a bunch of BR last night, A little undergrown for sure but it was the same bull I am used to seeing. I am glad someone still runs it, and also now that I think of it the buddy who gave me some BR last night said he could get clones from this new BR grower!!!! I juuust remembered, so I will have to hop on it and grab some of these babies, PEACE EVERYONE!!!

I never really got into the BR that much. as another poster said it always looked preemie except the nugs where huge. I had a cut of it in 2005 til LEO got involved. I was interested in it as a cross in a breeding program. the cool thing I heard from a friend of mine was that a friend had grown one outside in an aqua farm and it was thirteen feet never got the word on the harvest though... on another note a cross of this strain called AB was real popular as well here in SD Afgani x Bullrider=AB I saw some ok AB but it was the same for me as the bullrider. just not my thing I guess. I am almost positive I can get cuts of the BR still, don't know about the AB I'll have to ask my boy about it, he knew the original breeder of this cross and always loved it. taste and preference is a matter of opinion I guess.... (when) I smoke (it is) as much for taste as for the high and some things just don't appeal to me as they do to others. I am more into the P =p91 and it's crosses and the Soma strains as long a you don't grow just for yield. my friend who likes the AB doesn't care for either. another nice cross I think might have started in CA at least if not in SD was/is BubbleSkunk.

Diego, Yes of course I remember "Valente" he was a friend he's still around but we haven't seen his original strain around for nearly 15 years. another friend of mine and I liked to call it chinese weed because it was like chinese food- it tastes good but half an hour later you are hungry again. We sure had to smoke a lot to make up for it not being very strong. we were always trying to get the guy to get some new genetics which he finally did, I tried a couple of them but was unimpressed word was he improved but I had moved on by then. Hit me up some time... I should have enough posts to PM in another six months or so lol !!!!

This looks like the BullRider I used to smoke a lot a couple of years ago. Bullrider, Hoggsbreath, P91, were all popular strains here in SD. What ever happened to these long lost genetics.(I know the P's still going around) but what about the Rider and the Hoggs? I miss these genetics. Wish we could get that Hoggs back.

Yeah for me it has to be grown right to taste right and I guess there is just so many strains that are so easy not to get it right. I talked to my friend the other day about the Bull and the AB and still to this day he's hooked, says it's the best strain on the Planet. LOL. I don't agree but to each his own Ya know? I was talking to him about this thread and told him what I had posted about him and it was like I expected "that shit is the best, but most can't grow it right." He says he can still get it. So... I am thinking I can still get the Bull as well. It would only be high on my list as a clone to make a mom to have my own clones to trade or breed. Or maybe........? we'll wait and see.

Smokingbuddah that looks a lot like the BR I get around my area. Kind of a lemon smell too it?? Premie looking on the outside but good full calyxs on this inside right?? If so that's the same shit!

Some of my Bullrider from seed in SD harvested recently, shes got a spicy smell to her thats pretty much all I get besides a slight sweetness as well.












Not the BR I remember except for the hairs, same color and plenty of them. I have more seeds I will work on them in the future. Also I know I can get the hoggs, shes an indica from what I have seen with nice sized buds, big but not too big. Fat ass leaves, I have only seen it in my friends grow room he harvested and I asked wheres the hoggs and he siad he can get it back I was like awww man get that SHIT!!!!

Sorry to sound like an ass, but the only way I could give you my email is threw pm so no one would see it ;) Now since you can't read messages or send them, it's pointless right now so just keep postin. Bullrider is by far one of my top favorite medicinal strains isnt to couch locky and isnt to heart thumping entergetic weed eithier its right in bewteen it helps my pains and mellows me out.
Id like to cross Bullrider with Williams Wonder because those are two of my favorites. D
