Any artificial scent makes me violently ill, esp those used in perfume/cologne.
I run through the cosmetics section of Sears holding my breath, and have been known to ask girls to wash off whatever scent they are wearing cuz it made me feel poisoned, so I ain't about to start wearing the shit myself.
I certainly prefer the smell of day-fresh sweat on my wife to anything artificial she could put on.
My wife likes garlic, sweat and the smell of ME, not some nasty-ass stank mixed up by some flaky twit with serious pretension issues.

no one mentioned polo? i like silver a lot, but black is pretty good too. the original in the green bottle is old man cologne cuz that stuff wreaks... i've also tried romance which is good and blue is great also. not a fan of the polo sport though, kinda on the cheapy side.

I agree with genkisan. I actually like the way "fresh" sweat smells. There is nothing sexier than the way a guy smells after a nice romp in the bedroom. Mhmmm, the smell of sex and sweat. Tarkus pitched the idea of bottling up my lady juices as a perfume, Eau de Daisy!

i wouldn't say that ALL expensive fragrances smell the same. think sweat smells good? ohh boy... i have friends with feet that stink from sweat so bad that it makes you gag. maybe some men actually smell decent w/o cologne, but ever been in a men's locker room? things get greasy up in there...

also, most tommy hilfiger is good too. i've tried the original and summer which were good. summer was a little on the syrup side though, but definitely is good summertime smell.
one other thing, patchouli isn't that pleasing of a smell. reminds me of dirt because all the dirty hippies i know where it. at least it covers up other smells that could be lurking.
