when i said everything i been hearing is weak thats just my opinion. If you aint got roots in the streets tho its understandable not to dig a lot of the shit, cuz its a whole different way of life, different struggle, and those on the outside lookin in dont always understand it. Its hard to slap some shit you cant relate to.

I know what your saying man, I got hood roots...but i feel like that type of music is also just contributing to the next generation of people that just accept the hood as their reality, when the true reality is that the small changes that people make in their own communities can contribute to a positive change, and better lives for the people in those communities...I'm not saying that positive hip hop can rescue the hood, but it's certainly pointing the arrow in a better direction...
