Huh ok, i admit. I'm addicted to life! It's different than being addicted to drugs (weed doesn't count). You have to work for feeling the natural highs of life (except weed if you don't grow it).

Why do you think there's a purpose to any of this? This life is not FOR anything. You're here to do one thing, and that's to ensure survival of your species. Besides that one job, do whatever you feel like doing. Society blows because society is caught up trying to make meaning out of their life purpose by subscribing to capitalism and diving into that as their purpose, forever chasing the American Dream and never quite catching up to it. Most people are too scared to imagine that they're not put on this earth for any specific purpose. Same as most people being too scared to consider that once it's all over, ITS ALL OVER.

I agree with what you're saying, but then I ask myself.. Well, okay, if we (and by we I mean any of the thousands upon thousands of species of animals, plants, whatever) are just "trying to survive" and advance our kind, by what means were we able to even exist and be aware of this duty of ours? ..and then of course these kinds of questions always trigger hours of contemplation and wonder. Usually then I'll just get frustrated because I will never know, and nobody in my lifetime will ever know. So I just say fugg it. Live life how you want to and enjoy it. You deserve it, you know. There is in fact a reason why YOU were the little sperm that make it to the egg first, right? hahahah...

But in all seriousness, it is a crazy thing to think about. Being completely gone and all. It's like, when I think of the world before I was born in the 80s and I find it totally weird that life had been going on as normal for many many years, and then all of a sudden, bam, I'm here. And I don't know why, but all right!
