What's the most unfortunate bust you've heard of?

I think one of the most "oh fuckl" bust stories I heard was my own,

My mate had a flatmate move in with him, who was a complete dick head. I told my mate and told my mate "he's bad news get rid of him".

Well one day the flatmate, who was married but seperated, had a whole lotta cops turn up at his wifes house with a warrant. The f****** **** ***** ***** wife turned around and said "he doesnt live here, he lives with *** at *********".

Well my mate gets a text to tell him this has happened. He txts me and tells me he needs my help ASAP to get rid of everything.

Wait for it, here comes the "oh fuck" moment

I arrive, and we're in his shed moving 4 foot tall, fully budding plants out the front to put in his van. You guessed it, cops arrive...Quickly...Loudly...Screaming, and yelling. One of them yells at me "Stay where you are!" the other yells at me "drop the plant" I was like "so what the fuck do you want me to do? Stay where I am or drop the plant" I get thrown on the grown and given a bit of a bashing for my "smart mouth".

Naturally theyh go straight from my buddies house, to mine.

Bit of a rubbish story I geuss, but when I read the title "most unfortunate bust" I just thought of myself standing there with a big arse plant in my hands with torches shining in my fave, the sound of police radios, dogs barking, and screaming everywhere, and to be honest it doesnt get much more unfortunate than that.

Two local busts fit the random type , they were both excellent setups.

One was a 30K grow in a semi detached house in a residential area , some lads stole a car miles away and ended up stopping outside the house by pure chance and running off , the police helicopter useing thermal imageing to find them could hardly miss the glowing house.

They should not have stayed there for over a year but still bad luck.


Other was just going live , remote purpose built barn on diesel offgrid , railway track workers saw lights one night from a mile away and rang the police thinking it was metal thieving gypsies , caught red handed within the hour.

They were complacent , light travels for miles at night in the countryside.


Close personal call years back when a child went missing in the village , two days in and they were doing house to house searches , thankfully she was found unharmed just minuits before they were to knock my door.

Have no idea how to get out of that situation , would have been at the mercy of the officers who searched the house , but to refuse entry would waste police time with a childs life at risk , and probably start a lynch mob.

two of my buddies were tooling around on Ft. Bragg NC after shift on Pope AFB one morning. bothering no one, just scorching one & having a cold beer. well, the security police on Bragg were scheduled to hold an exercise that morning. scenario was "2 white guys in a red chevy robbed the Bragg post office. BOLO for this vehicle". well, guess what my buddies were cruising in? some days you ought not get out of bed...

so right nondual...there was a bust near me where a guy was driving a box truck with 46 pounds on him. the truck had expired tags too, and was covered in graffiti so stuck out like a sore thumb.....the sherriffs pull him over and he admitted to having all the weight on him like a dumbass, basically told the cop "theres 46 in the back" before the even asked to search the car...

the article is funny the coppers are like "he is a major marijuana dealer in the area" not really, just a dumb driver who lost someone elses money....they also value the pot at 500k which is bullshit, 11k a LB my ass. that stuff was probably asian warehouse purps..

I've got a messed up one that happened to me but don't want to disclose for security reasons. Let's just say I was trying to help someone out and paid the price.
Was up in Oakland(deep east) yesterday visiting my buddy(while holding) and saw two separate cars getting searched with all the occupants out of them. I look like a nice little white boy so I usually get left alone up there. lol
My buddy has been shot twice
He's very security minded as you might imagine.............

just reminded me of something...cause its also been my fear also

one night i had gone to bed...must have just fallen a sleep...when the next thing i know my room was flooded with light and an almighty roaring sound "what the hell is that???" ...looked out the window and there was a fuk'n car in my front yard...and yea i "did" have a fence

i ran out into the back yard in my jocks and looked through the fence..these two dumb shits are freaking out...one saying "move the car...move the car"..while the other one screamed "I CANT!...ITS STUCK!"....they had run over a block of cement with a pole hanging out of it...trapping the front end of the car...so they ran

i could hear water flooding my front garden...they ran over the water meter and smashed down a fairly sturdy fence...

not long after i had neighbors surrounding the house and cop cars turning up...then the two dumb shits out the front with their father yelling at them...found out later they had been joy riding in the step fathers car for two days...and took what i thought was an impossible angle into my yard that night

neighbors in my drive way giving statements and chatting to the cops...cops bashing on my door....and some stinky plants in flower in my house

I didn't answer the door...so all was cool....phewww.....

i just took the card they left on my door the next day ...and emailed the details to my land agent and all the damage was fixed

I'm so bloody lucky they didn't come through the house or it would have been a different story


but back on track for the thread

I did hear a story of an old lady who was a cash cropper...was told the story by the guy( i knew him) who owned the local hydro store she bought her supply's from

She was sitting in her lounge room ...minding her own business trimming up her crop....when some guy come bursting through the front door and then straight out the back door

why did he do that???...he was being chased by the cops...how'ed she know that?...cause they ran straight through as well...and noticed what she was doing as they ran through

they radioed in that she needed a visit and she was busted

no idea why she didn't have her door locked?...I'm sure that's the 1st thing anyone would do at trimming time....stupid mistake...but very unfortunate...HH. =]-~

His grow lights started a fire and the fire brigade and the cops came and found the plants.

His neighbour jumped the fence to steal the plants and got electrocuted.

Not worth it for six plants.
