These White Widows are 3 weeks into flower. Growing in Fox Farm Ocean potting soil in Wal Mart air bags, been fed FF Grow Big about 4 times now. Until last week I was using RO water, now well water (funds short). When I water I add a little sea weed extract and I keep the ph around 6.8. I have a Purple Afgan the same age same everything doing beautifully. My last crop started this stunted growth shit and I didn't let em finish, wanted the room to start these White Widows. I am using 1000 watt hp in a 4' x 8' x 7 grow room.l I should have beauties but......ANY ADVISE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a guide for posting pics and another for video.

[*youtubeif]#######[/*youtubeif]

####### = random string at end of youtube url.
Remove asterix.

Looks like broads, possibly spider mites, overwatering and multiple nutrient issues (pH or root pathogen are typical).

Broads require 50 to 100 magnification for proper ID. Spider mites can be seen with the naked eye if you've dealt with them before. Look for accepted examples of both to compare to. Broads are easy due to their unique egg structure.

Testing the quality of the well water is important. Lower feed pH. Post watering regime including EC. Always include environmental conditions.

Mynamestitch has posted a questionnaire in one of the Infirmary stickies. While almost overly thorough, it will give you an idea of what information to provide.

6.8 for the pH is likely your problem and the plants are having trouble asorbing nutrients. You want to be at 5.8, not 6.8. Try flushing and then using 5.8 and see if it resolves in a couple days.

edit: I actually think it's more your water quality in the first place. Probably too much sodium. I would switch back to RO water. What's your ppm on your well water?

Please take a pic of the Purple Afghan so we can see how it looks. Take a pic of the growing tip, one of a middle leaf and one of a lower leaf.

I am inclined to agree with Mikell about broad mites. Do you have 100x microscope? You could buy a USB microscope. Best Buy or mall.

Have you only been a seed grower and never gotten a clone?

Have you ever been to somebody else's grow, indoor or outdoor?

Do you have African Violets? They can be a broad mite host plant.

Bottom left looks like it could be magnesium deficiency from the yellowing the leaf. It going from each tip, then a yellow streak down the center. That what mag def starts out as.

You may have others, calcium, boron, etc. For boron, take a pinch of Mule team borax into a gallon of water. Calicium & magenisum use your calmag or calimagic.

Good guide for diagnosing leaves. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/jj316/shaggyballs1/best_cannabis_deficiency_visual_chart.jpg

iTarzan, thanks for the help. I just purchased 30 gal of RO water and will flush my girls using Bushdoctor Sledge Hammer nutrient rinse and RO water. That is the only this that has changed. They were doing so well veging that I started 5 more a month later, thus the smaller ones in the room. They both are on the same schedules only the other 5 are in coco and fed FolraNova Big Bloom and Calmag. I see the sings starting on them too! Has to be the water. Here is the Purple. I see signs on her now..

ChasingGreen I do keep the ph in those around 5.8, I use 6.8 for my coco feeding as per a video I follow on Grow pot cheaply on youtube. the dude has some killer grows an d I a following him to the t except for the well water. My Fox Farm soil grow is from Cali Green from youtube also. Learning dude. Ain't no classes where I am, still illegal as shit here butr fuckem, I gotta have my bud..

No I haven't. looking into that. The ppm of my well water is157 and the ph run 6.7. I was told that spraying with a drop of mineral oil and a drop of Dawn dish detergent in a spray bottle full of water will kill the mites. Never heard of Borg but will google it after I flush em today.

eeeekkk here comes the broad mite crew

He was advised to scope. I think that's reasonable advice given the crap shoot helping people over a computer is.

As you have nothing to contribute, why not finish up that bowl of dicks and troll elsewhere.

Sorry, OP, but Mikel and others are correct that you have the Borg. :( Ive battled them before for a year, and they can be defeated but often with great casualties.

I treated my plants with alternating treatments of Avid & Fobid for a total of 3 treatments. Ive not seen the borg since. Jump on treatment pronto, because they grow out of control very quickly, and in your case you're already in deep doo-doo.

Look at my Broad Mite Album, and you'll see the same exact symptoms you are currently experiencing.

Dave I believe you are right on the money as are the other guys. :cuss: Now how do I get rid of them? Do I need to strip my grow room and cleanse everything, bleach it or something. Do I need to shit can this grow or try to finish em? You said 3 treatments, how long does it take, how often between treatments and where do you buy the needed shit? Man I see exactly what is happening with my girls in your pic...
