WOW that is some expensive shit! How much does an oz of Floramite make? How much would I need to buy to treat 10 plants? How much Forbid do I need and same question, how much does an oz make?

Please take a pic of the Purple Afghan so we can see how it looks. Take a pic of the growing tip, one of a middle leaf and one of a lower leaf.

I am inclined to agree with Mikell about broad mites. Do you have 100x microscope? You could buy a USB microscope. Best Buy or mall.

Have you only been a seed grower and never gotten a clone?

Have you ever been to somebody else's grow, indoor or outdoor?

Do you have African Violets? They can be a broad mite host plant.

You need to find out how you got them.

If these are not some elite, irreplaceable strains then you need to just start over.

BUT FIRST YOU NEED TO SCOPE THEM.

You can buy small amounts on ebay and some are bundled like avid, floramite and forbid one ounce each.

They each are basically 1 ml per gallon so each makes 30 gallons of spray.

So....

1. Scope

A. If no mites then figure out your deficiencies and carry on.

B. If you see broad mites start over and clean everything.

2. Try to figure out how you got them. Start by answering the questions I asked you back on page one.

If you don't scope then precede as if you have broad mites and start over unless you have a strain you can not lose.

I am not answering any more questions unless you answer the questions you were already asked. This happens to me over and over.

You also need to research broad mites.

You should always have stuff on hand to fight common infestations. So whatever you do you should still by some avid, floramite and forbid. Plus get some organic stuff to use as preventative.

Or research organic pesticides and chemical pesticides, figure out what style you will grow and arm yourself appropriately.

1 thing tho, floramite won't kill BMs, avid and forbid do and
Forbid is what i would get as it's also an ovicide
and utilizes translaminar action in it's method of delivery,
if you only spray the top of the leaf it will also kill bugs that sucking from the other side.
but its a good idea to spray both sides thoroughly anyways
:smoke:

you need to look into quicker than that....
i'm 99.999% sure you have broad mites
have you scoped em yet?
unless you have exp. with em they are hard to detect with a loupe.
but if you know what your looking for it'll work
those 60x--100x $14 mic from radio shak will really show you whats what.
also,,,it's a lot easier to detect the distinctive egg sacs.

i have recovered from damage like you have but you need to do something very soon like yesterday! ASAP
once your seeing signs of BMs your crop is usually toast in 10-14days so act quick.
you can mix iso alc. 1/2-n-1/2 with water and spritz the plants and it'll knock em down
use asprin in your water 1 per gallon, it's suppose to help with the plants immune sys.
dealing with the BM toxin

a good 1hr heat treatment @115F has been know to kill the mites and eggs.
just make sure your plants are well hydrated
if your in veg and don't mind chems spectracide brand with triazicide will work and easy to get at loses HD wally world
also heavy duty chem like avid and forbid 4F kill em dead fast

iTarzan to answer your questions, I have mostly been a seed grower, my only clones came from my plants and that was several grows ago. I have never visited another grow, indoors or out, grown outdoors many times, starting my 3rd year indoors, these White Widow seed came from Robert @ ILGM. And lastly no African Violets.. After I spray them how long before I should see some results?. Going to try something a buddy that grows outdoors recommended. I will dismantle my grow room and start all over. Justy got some autos in from Herbies I am very anxious to start....

By heating the room up.

There is an overwhelming sticky in the Infirmary subforum. Read as much as you can.

Search Google with string "site:*.edu". This will get you the most reliable information and filtre out the chaff, in regards to understanding this mite. Know your enemy, as the druids say.

Learn to fish. Giving people free fish gets old very fast.

And before you do anything, buy the scope. Put the joint down and get your ass in gear. Writing 0.69c checks and waxing on about your piss stained carpet only gets you so far.

:good: I hear ya buddy. I tore down the room, treated every
thing with a good does of Malathion, if that doesn't kill I will move up to Floremite or something. The budget is tight as a frogs ass a the moment and have to wait till the 15th, but it is what it is... here is what I've been doing for 2 days..

Have to get a scope but I did spray last Sunday and again Friday. My White Widows are starting to show show white hairs now on the deformed buds. The leaves of new growth are growing dark green again although still hooked. I thing I may have killed those bastards. the Purple Afghan showed very little sign when I discovered what was going on and now she is starting to bud up very nicely, seemingly unaffected. I have germinated 3 new autos in coco I am going to try my hand at and do a grow journal, I, all from Herbies. 1 Cream of the Crop, 1 2 Fast 2 Vast and 1 Freeze Berry. they are 3 days old in a different room under some clf's to start. Will move em int he big room on a few weeks. I will start a new thread. Thank you everyone who shared their knowledge and experiences when I needed them. :tiphat:

Looks like I beat the bugs. My Youngest White Widows are starting to show white hairs out of the fucked up buds. The Purple Afghan is doing fine, she never missed a lick an was barely effected by the mite. Keep tying up upload some pic but it keeps timing out ERROR 408. ...waiting for ICMag.... Dunno know about this. Send a note to the moderator but no response yet... I want to add pics to my album on my autos... Frustrating..
