My buddy Xander! He's a ball python. Im a snake nut and have had other, much larger, snakes in the recent past but apparently growing weed isn't the only thing that will draw local police attention. In some areas, growing big snakes will too. He's in the grow room and thats the mylar to the left.
Cool ass little guy. Anyone wanting to get into snakes should start with a Ball Python.
Just wanted to update this old thread I started. My little buddy Xander died last week. RIP Xanman.

Best protection is to be smart and tell no one, show no one, don't even let them think you grew it! Every gate in my yard has a padlock on it, every door has a deadbolt added to it, the stairwell has a locked trap door at the top and each room is behind you guessed it another locked door. Dog lives in the yard and barks at everything that moves. Crazy ass dog.
