What's a realist yield?

On the plant the yeild always looks more than what is actually there. You probably reached your goal, but I wouldn't count for much else. You might be setting yourself up for a let down. I have done it numerous times. But the plants look great and you did an excellent job. What ever your yeild, you should be proud - I know I would be of those plants! Let us know how she goes.

Yeah, TGT I'd agree with you on the visual estimates. What ever the yield I know what I did wrong and can correct with the clones. I have 14 clones 12-15" ready to go in the flower room on Sunday 12-10 and by 2-4-07 I know I'll get 42-56g per then and have my jars full. I'm gonna harvest in sections. I'll leave the lower buds on for two weeks after the main colas are chopped.

Fuzzy lump my bags are 3 gallon. I went to they hydro shop today and found out I've been using 3gal not 5gal. Those 5gal bags are huge.

thats still good IMO 3 gallons is plenty fine for a 2-3ft plant.

simple, my first group of clones are just about to flower. i won't be able to compare unitl i make new cutting, which will be on sunday. however, i'm going to two more agrosun fluros. so i'll 6 40w tubes. and instead of 24/7 i'm going to switch to 18/6/. so hopefully i see some difference...in size and electric bill. i'm not sure if my bill will be higher if i run 160w 24/7 or 240w 18/6. anybody have any suggestions?

160watts x 24 hours a day x 30 days a month = 115,200 / 1000 x .0794 = $ 9.14
240watts x 18 hours a day x 30 days a month = 129,600 / 1000 x .0794 = $10.29

If a kw/hour is costing $.0794

It will be higher for the 240w on 18/6 but not by a substantial margin, use whatever is going to give you the best results.... This is the first time I've ever checked out your thread, nice grow malik! I hope you get the yield you're looking for.

Hey Major. Thanks for stopping by and for the link. I was doing my numbers last night, after Unicorns prediction I got excited. I figured around 266, so Major we're on the same page. Unicorn, I wish it were so, but I don't see too many 56g plants hanging my closet. I would need a couple of those to reach the 300g plateau. But no worries I've made cutting. Now I'll try and improve on the last grow.

Nah, I'm just bullshittin.' Looks like a fun grow you've got going, malik. I've been following the thread and wanted to chime in. I'm still learning lots of cool tricks from my dope-growin' brethren. I've never smoked the strains you're growing but have heard lots of positive comments.

I run a perpetual garden under a 400hps and I'm averaging a monthly yield of 28 dgdgb (dried grams of damn good bud). I just completed my 12th month of indoor growing and my monthly yield of an OZ is still increasing. I'm pretty happy with the results because my goal was to be able to grow enough weed to keep me happy. Instead, I got "enough damn good weed" to keep me and several friends happy.

I've got a couple of mums in the closet rotating as clone donors... from Female Seeds WW, WWxBB and Skunk. From Nirvana, Blue Mystic and Aurora Indica. When I pull out buds to smoke, my friends go, "Ooh, and W H A T do we have to smoke today?" I tell 'em, "You people are scumbags that will smoke anything that is "FREE" but today, we're smoking some very good White Widow." And, I must say, the scumbags are happy to be hooked up with the good weed instead of the dregs/schwag they'd get from some other scumbag friend of ours. So, they slap me on the back, give me a Bronx cheer, and then we get wasted again.

Well Major I wish you were right. It's looking like I won't even reach 200g dry. I put some in brown bags and weighted them. One was 28 and the other 26. And judging by the rest they'll be the same. I have 7 plants so you do the math. But I'm happy. I have clones that I've topped and I'm buying a new 1000hps this weekend so hopefuly Feb will be better.
