what should i grow next?

spacetooth - subcool (yields really well, short flowering, but i dont know where to get it anymore)

motavation - magus (has the Sensi Star genetics in it plus warlock, which is what i always wanted to breed and make into a strain of my own, but i guess its too late lol)

white russian - serious

or anything else? this will be my second grow, coming off of ak-47. what do you guys suggest? i would like a high yielding, decent flowring time (max about 9 weeks), that has a unique flavor or smell to it...any ideas or other suggestions on strains?

White Russian or Sensi Star. I'd grow both and make a cross with them.

White Russian x Sensi Star (female x male)
Sensi Star x White Russian (female x male)

Try both crosses and see what you like best. This way you get more seeds and more strains to experiment with. If you can only grow one then I'd pick White Russian.

first off closetfunk, thank you for the response.

from what i hear, sensi star can be a pretty good yielder so im liking that, plus supposedly it has a very unique taste (and hits you like a boulder!) and i love indicas.

motavtion supposedly will yield 100 grams in a 2 gallon bucket when vegged for 4-5 weeks from seed (directly from magus) and since it has lineage from the sensi star and similar growth patterns i guess it cant hurt, plus i can get it for 89 bucks.

white russion supposedly is very strong, plus with parentage of ak-47 and white widow, it sounds likea killer combo.

also anyone know where to get spacetooth shipped to the US. drchronic and gypsy dont carry them??

but anyways, as you can see im am concerned with yield from seed. and considering im only gonn have 10 seeds (15 from serious) and half will be females i want a good starting off yeild. also this time around im gonna take cuttings from each female and establish a mother after i harvest and see which one suits my tastes and preferences the best and use that for cloning. but yea, with these requirement, do any of these suit my needs?

btw: im running a 1000 watt with a cool sun hood in a a 5x5 closet and 5gal buckets. the closet is about 6.5x6.5 but i need room to move.

For real flavour get the original Jack Herrer ,that herb has an unmistakable taste that lasts down to the roach, or if you can get it Stella Blue has the most profound berry flavour I've ever come across.

Both of those have a great high but I am unsure on the flowering time of the Stella Blue.

clone only? i cant do that if they are. im hoping for a high yielding strain i can get from seed.

as for the jack herer, i heard they are super nutrient sensitive and the high is real rushy with too much paranoia.

Sensi Star is a great strain, one of the best indicas avaliable in seed form.. I'm not sure if it could be considered a realy high yeilder tho. It takes a while to veg up to size, plus, there is very little in terms of stretch. If you do decide on Sensi Star make sure you veg her up to about 80-90% of your desired finishing height.

I've heard lots of good things about White Russian, but don't have any experience with it..

im currently growing ak-47 right now lol. as far as what i expected, im a little dissappointed, but i didnt grow it optimally so i guess there is room for improvment. i will be harvesting it this week so well see how it turns out as far as smoke and yield. do you think i should get more ak seeds and try to get mother and clone her? or should i go with a different strain...i would like to get a very unique tasting plant with a unique smell though. anyoen else?

could be. hey one last quick question, what kind of light would i need to sustain a good mother. i saw nice 100 and 150 watt compact fluro bulbs at walmart for like 10-15 bucks each. im thinkin if i get a reflector, what kind of wattage would i need to support a GOOD mother, i dont want to buy another HID.

jock horror is a great strain. i havent had the original so i dont know how it compares. from that list, i would go with sensi star, its an amazing strain

yes the sensi star does sound like a very good strain and with compact floros you might as well get the highest watts they make which could be like 26 to 30 depending on what kind i also did see some at walmart that are 40 watts but they were an off brand i would go with the 26 to 27 watt ones

How many female AKs did you end up with? If you get the right phenos and grow it right AK47 can be killer. I realy like the taste/yeild/potency and quick flowering time of her. I also like that she's not too couchlocky unless you over do it. I haven't heard many people not like it, actualy you're the 1st I can remember. But Like you say it could have been you growing conditions.

For keeping mums you don't need much, just a couple 27w CFLs. Personaly I realy like 80w floro shoplights cause they're cheap and easy to setup as long as you have the length.

And if you're gonna drop $100+/- on a pack of seeds I highly suggest you start taking clones of all your girls before flowering, or reveg the single best female..

When you buy quality strains chances are you're gonna get at least one or 2 realy nice girls. THe 1st time you gro the strains you're just getting to know the strain.. You'll get your very best results with a strain after a couple grows. And it's best to use the cheaper strains while dialing in your grow, usualy 2-3 grows with the same setup.
