Yeah, pretty dumb. Guess the big problem with doing something thats not a moral crime is that you can kinda forget that the authorities make no distinction between moral and legal (well, not a distinction that we'd recognise as valid anyway!).

It's easy to get careless when you don't think you're doing anything wrong. I can't imagine anyone would show pics of their crack lab or something. You guys in the US seem to have it particularly hard but even here in UK the cops love finding drug 'factories' (usually a one room grow in a house) despite the relaxing of the possession laws a few years ago. You'd be amazed how many folk here seem to think it's now legal and therefore must be cool to tell/show everyone they know. Takes the heat off us careful ones I guess but it's still sad.

You mustn't develop "kingpin syndrome" no matter how good things go for you,and no matter how damn cool you think you've become,you're just a person thats acquired some growing skills,hopefully.I'm at an age where this isnt a problem for me fortunately,if I'd been doing this in my 20s and became successful at it,it may be a different story.Contriteness,gifting,gratitude for your unbelieveably lucky situation,those are the things that should be concentrated on.Fortune,popularity and especially greed are the things that will bring you down swiftly,avoid these like the plague.Don't forget where you came from,and how it was when you were a consumer and teat the axiom "do unto others" as your major business concept and hopefully all will be well with you.Lean in the other direction and you surely wont last

Courts and papers will say this, Buddy will say that, and somewhere in the middle is the truth. ANY and I mean ANY bust story I have read always has some element of stupidity to it. be it ripping off hydro or having a fire from shawdy electrical work or water leak. you get the idea.

and a few more cents... if you are going to be commercial...and man I don't suggest it...walk a straight line and wait the full 3 seconds at every stop sign.

It frustrates me when you see the money shot on the 6 o'clock news and it's a couple lights and maybe 20 flowering plants, a tray of clones, and a few bags of buds, then call it a million dollar operation counting each clone as a street value of thousands. as they hustle off a respectfull looking man with his wife crying in the door. it's not right when an honest tax paying family get split up .... it also makes me laugh when people get busted for stupidity.
