brrrrrrr, only one plane makes that sound

Vulcan rockets, GE mini-gun, and a couple others, though tone (and volume) differs. Some smaller hand-held selective-fire weapons as well, make that 'brrr' sound, like a MAC-10 (either in 9mm or .45acp) at 960 rounds/cyclic minute, or the original M-11 .380 at 1,200/rds/cyclic minute, made by RPB and, earlier before RPB bought them out, from Ingram (not SWD's later-produced M-11 Nine).

Though I believe it's the 'destructive devices' component on the Federal Form 4 that I think they're most interested in (the musicians, I mean...).

the afternoon air show is going on and i can hear the fast movers and a few brrrrs
the night time airshow is even better

High speed 30mm gatling cannon can sound like that too. Again, tone and volume. The 20mm gatling cannons shoot at a rate similar to the CAR-shorties, M4s, M16's, XM177E, Ruger AC556 and 556F, etc., at about 735/rds+/-/cyclic minute.
