When it rains it pours. Judas Priest is going to be in my town on October 10th followed by Iron Maiden on October 14th. Prior to that I'm going to Billy Idol July 28th and ELO August 30th.

I had to take out a second mortgage on my house to pay for the tickets. Prices are insane.

The Fraternal Order of Police Officers, or whatever they call themselves, back when they were enforcing unconstitutional statute re. cannabis here in violation of the 1975 Ravin Decision, would call me up from a phone book list and ask me to buy tickets to their benefit concerts annually, and I would typically tell them that when they honored the State constitution, I might buy a ticket.... maybe.

Then one year the concert was Brewer and Shipley, and they were playing that tune One Toke Over the Line regularly on the air, advertising the ticket sales., 'One Toke Over the Line,' mhmm.. And when their Trooper doing phone banking called, I lit into him for their hypocrisy more than I normally would've..
