My daughter's back in cell phone connectivity and about 2.5 hours from her home in the Mat-Su Valley now.

She did OK, fished by herself in 2 different spots, though didn't catch her limit of 25 that she'd hoped for. She was a bit bummed about that.

No bear or human incidents, and she's exhausted now.

Waiting to hear back from an old acquaintance and from my older son to see if either of them are up for a decent drive on Sunday, and dip-netting on Monday, at which point that huge plug of fish numbering 61,000 from last Sunday ought to be in the area we'd be dipping.

Good for her...don't think i don't care, I'm kind of a lurker on certain subjects of intimacy

Just topped off the gear-drive lube reservoir and the tine-drive reservoir on the old trusty TroyBilt Horse, so it's time to till the potato field, although a little later this year than normal. Tires are aired up, fuel tank's full, and lube is up to full in both gear cases, as well as engine oil looking clean and full.

Hot as a bastard outside at the moment, however. My fault for waiting, but my body had been protesting lately.

Onward!!!

Just heard they're going to be playing in Vegas at the Sphere when Harley and I are going to be there for our 35th anniversary. A week to go before tickets are on sale, won't pay $250+ a ticket (we're retired and on a fixed income :ROFLMAO:), but they're going to start at $150, so we're going to do whatever we can to be there, including Harley getting up at 7:00 a.m. the morning they go on sale, to start pushing buttons.:ROFLMAO:

Haven't been to a concert in ages and have never seen the Eagles live.

They seem fairly adept still, though I noted a younger face or 2 among them.

Joe Walsh is reportedly living a cleaner lifestyle these days, so that might help lend to a better sound, too.

Back out to the tiller.

Took time to make sure my 2 satellite phone batteries are charged up and the DeWalt batteries for the portable compressor, too. Still, more to do yet, as well as putting new roller guides onto the boat trailer, and plow flags onto the new roller guides, as well..

Harley and I haven't been to a concert since Steve Winwood, almost 25 years ago. Like everybody else, we used to go to a lot of when we were younger but since I moved to the mountains, it takes a couple hours just to get to a city that is going to have anyone we really want to see. I'm not usually one for the Dinosaur acts (imagine that, Barney not liking dinosaurs???) but since the Sphere is so unique visually, it's one of the main reasons why we want to experience it.
