I saw the original Mountain, with Leslie West, Felix Papalardi, Corky Laing and Steven Knight at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan about 1975. Other bands there with them.
Leslie West would later lose a leg to diabetes, and Howard Stern found him living in a questionable apartment, I believe in NYC, and helped him put together an album (which I have here on CD), with one of Robin Trower's old bandmates.
