I remember PK (as in la pure kush) from 96-97 and it was not OG. Was greener, less hairs. Fantastic it was. It was prized a bit more than the OG and less of it made it down to the peeps.

LA Pure is still around, goes by the Pure/Puss Kush now. dont know why some grower felt the need to swap up names.

have it here veggin, all i know is what ive said, as far as its growth. this is the second plant ive vegged, first i put in flower balled up(light leak room, intentional) next one ill flower in a safe room. its just about ready.

also has a bit of stretch to it, not a bunch but more then ya would think

It looks OK but those big fans make you think the plant is bigger than it actuallly is..
I must say I like the Screme much much better...Just more my cup o' tea...
They were flowered at the same time yet the Screme looks 10x as good as the Kush for appearance!Resin,odor,ect.....Also!No comparison...I like the Screme more than most plants growin' now in my garden..of course I have a shitload of cuts to go through...I'm sure I will be thinning the mother room over the next 6 months...Everything will get 2 runs before being unceromoniously tossed


Takes a lot of room to keep up 60+ mommies and daddies...Daddies are getting a thinning also...

to the best of my knowledge the LA Pure is not suges PK. this was hashed out in one of the PK threads. this cut comes outta LA, from a guy called howsitgrow or somethin like that. then to I.D.D., then to my buddy, to me.

the howsitgrow dude has had it for along time, its a old cut. zilla or OG i think were the ones that gave it the Puss kush moniker, said to be pretty potent, dont have info on aromas/taste. guess it smells like pussy, lol.

dont think theres a lockdown on it, but havent asked, and when i got hold of it there werent any conditions expressed, other then dont turn her into a Ho. so i passed it on to a few buddies.

I've asked this several times with little to no response, but i'll try again.

I have a cut called "LA Kush". It's VERY similar to Sour Diesel in looks and smell, all the way up through flowering. But in the end, it doesn't nodule (pod) up like Diesel does. It's not the exact same smell either, and when smoked it's MUCH stronger and MUCH more favorful and tasty.
My friends gave it to me , and they say , in humboldt, they can get $5k at their door cause it tastes so good people actually pay that much for it there in Humboldt. It was not from the same source as the Diesel, which my friend says came from an Indian guy they know. He can't tell me the lineage of either, but he calls one Diesel and one LA Kush.
When I open a jar of the LA Kush in any room, it smells up the whole room instantly. It smells so damn wonderful it's practically all I smoke these days but the high is narcotic practically. It stretches like Diesel and the others like OG. It does not have the Lemon smell, but more a dieselish smell but not wuite. More sweeter of an aroma. The taste is very different than anything else I know. Th etaste is distinct in Bubba. The taste in distinct in OG. The taste in distinct in LA Kush, but it's MUCH more flavorful than anything else I have or have ever had.
If anyone knows any more about this particular strain, please post it for me. Thanks. I suspect it's Pure Kush, but not sure. Now I hear of LA Pure Kush? Maybe there is something to it, or maybe names got changed, mixed up, switched, etc.
Bubba is BOMB. OG is BOMB. Diesel is BOMB LA Kush is BOMB. All are very different. All are extremely nice in their own way.
I wish I knew more about the lineage though. Pics will be posted soon.

Piss/Puss Kush is being touted as Suge's cut of Pure Kush but i'm 99% sure it's not. CBF is 100% correct on the background of the PISS cut because it's the same info i was given in PM from a respected member on these boards a while back when i was about to trade some cuts for it. As far as lineage of SUGE's pk here's info straight from the horses mouth:

..my cut was aquired from downtown asians who got it directly from the `old man` supposedly...only came labeled as pk at first but was able to verify pure kush title with them shortly after inquirin.. i had my inclin even be4 they verifyd it tho cuz i remembred smokin purek bout 6yrs ago.. so ikno it goes atleast that far back...other than that i have no lineage at all... needless to say ive rocked that bitch upndown tha coast..cuz im a cowboy baby ..haha... been verified by all who matter..

If you guys want info on Suge's PK, there it be...

it was named puss. Hell if I know anything about it as far as lineage. But lemme just say. It's the best high I've ever experienced. It's like pure nirvana. The smell of a fresh crushed bud is almost a minty skunkish/ mild hash. Very very peculiar scent. In flower it never really stinks unless you actually molest the flowers deep into 12/12. Stealth smell, almost reminds me of a sour bubble i had at one time. But the high is much much better. Sour bubble was more of a drool and forget stuff high. This kush is just heaven. When i smoke it i just wanna smile and give everyone hugs. It turned a nice purple on white. So much big trichomes and density it makes a quarter look tiny. Yield is pathetic for the most part compared to the big hitters. But when it comes to absolute best shit I ever rolled and toked. This has the cake in the effect dept.
I've tried a pile of strains in my carreer. This one in particular definately grabbed my attention at first hit. It rushes immediately upon inhaling. Kinda like a good mature sour D but not as a racing rush feeling.Creating a massive smile as you can feel it tingle up your dome. The flavor isn't my most favorite ever, but the high makes up for anything negative in my opinion. I'm able to share this with only my closest of friends. But there are other cuts of it out there i believe to be aquired. Especially in Cali. I am one lucky bastardo and will always treasure this one. I can definately understand what all the hype is about. It's all about the effect brothers.

The Kush plant being discussed here looks absolutely nothing like ECSD.....Nothing similar about the plants...
The ecsd had much narrower leaves and what I call the clamshell style blade triat(leaf blade)...
The LA Kush ,(Pure/Puss) being discussed here has huge fat fan leaves and perfect Kush stle buds...(Lots of resinated bract leaves,hard as a rock little nuggets)(Pure indica style buds).....

Nothing remotely similar about those 2 breeds...
