What Is The Most Accurate Hygrometer To Put In Mason Jar For Jar Curing?

I am planning on jar curing my flowers after a slow full plant hang dry.

I am going to be using the method where you put a hygrometer in the jar, and slowly burp it everyday until the humidity levels out around 60% in the jar. THIS IS THE METHOD IM TALKING ABOUT: https://www.icmag.com/threads/a-perfect-cure-every-time.153733/

My question is: Which hygrometer would you recommend that fits in a mason jar, and that is accurate? I have tried a few brands so far, and they all read slightly different temperatures/humidities when placed next to each other, so they are not calibrated properly.

Regardless of price, i will pay whatever i need to to get the most accurate hygrometer.

None of those cheap hygrometers are super accurate. I buy some and lay them all out to see which ones are close to the real humidity. Usually they're within a couple points. Sometimes I'll get a pack that's way off and I'll send them back until I get a decent pack.

I just tried Grove Bags last time and they make it a lot easier. No need for burping if the RH isn't higher than 65%. After a few weeks they were stabilized so I put them in jars since the RH seemed to keep dropping in the bags.

get an old school hygrometer one with a dial thatll let you calibrate it with a screw driver..
You get a gatorade bottle cap or something similar in dimension. Fill it up with salt add water til its just under a slurry consistency( many videos on youtube )stick both the bottle cap and the hydrometer in a sandwich bag..
If priperly calimbrated it should hold at (I believe) 75

For jar curing, the Caliber IV hygrometer is a great choice—it’s small enough to fit in a mason jar and pretty accurate. Another good option is the SensorPush, which connects to your phone for real-time readings. Both are reliable and will help you keep the humidity right around 60% for curing.

You need at least one good one in your collection. A standard, by which others are judged. I keep my standard in my lounge, where all the other meters get placed beside it. I used to get through a lot of the $2 one's. keeping one's within 5%, and writing how bad upon them. Many arrived bad. Most are bad within a year. They don't go wrong consistently, so need checking at the start of any job, and I wouldn't expect a straight 3 months of use without drifting. They are really cheap though, and don't need to offer months of service, when it's just a few weeks drying. Maybe a few times that year.
After a while though, you start buying better for grows and such, and the bluetooth one's with alarms, are really not that expensive. Get one's that take batteries you can buy anywhere. A decent meter will outlive a few batteries. My little inkbird eats a battery every 4 months. It's a few years old, so if that were watch batteries, I would be talking to my bank manager.
I think poor immunity to battery bogosity, is why a lot of cheap one's drift.

Why has my spell check not caught that. Don't tell me it's a real word.

Sometimes changing the battery helps with the cheap $2 ones. I always test them same as you but if the pack is more than 5% off I send them back.

I used a weather thing once. 4 temp&rh sensors, each with it's own display. And one main display linked by radio. It was nice to sit at my pc, and see those 4 sensors. I would put my green in paper grocery bags, and them paper bags into huge ziplocks designed for bedding. On big ziplock, with a number of paper bags containing different green. This was in order to use one costly sensor, with a number of different strains.
