I'd tell him I love and respect him more than I could even explain. I'd thank him for never giving up on me, it saved my life. Back when I was seething with hatred and violent anger, my dad was the only person that saw something better in me. He refused to give up no matter what I did, showed me how to be the bigger man. I miss him more and more everyday.
