What concerts or Music Festivals are you going to this summer?

I went to the Blazed and Confused tour at Red Rocks.

It ROCKED! Red Rocks is seriously the best venue I've been too.

I plan on going to the Monolith Festival (9/13) which happens to be at RED ROCKS.

Mainly going to see The Mars Volta and Redman/Method Man. BUNCH of other bands I've never heard of.

This is a 2 day fest. Only going to 2nd day.

Have seen Dinosaur Jr. at the Forum in Kentish town. J mascis rocked his shit once again. Tonight I get to see the pixies up in Brixton, Very excited. Sunday I have Mudhoney at Koko. Then on the 23rd Sonic youth at the Forum. It's a nineties thing. Also this year I have Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Carter USM.

SO the Pixies kicked ass. They played the b-sides first then the whole of Doolittle. Although they were nothing on Dinosaur Jr.

Saw Mudhoney last night at the Koko club in Camden town London. Now if I did not know what load was before, I certainly do now. Absolutely mind blowing stuff. Was thinking they were gonna have trouble living up to Dinosaur Jr. But oh no, they rocked hard!

Its that time of year again Spring!!!....So dust off the cold and come down to this event .The best lineup at this venue in the woods ,in the history the event.I can't make it till about 8 oclock on fri nite ,my friends will already be their ,be warned Sat nite is craZy,and alot of the older quieter folk ,take off before the nite.

Burning Man is a great time, the big problem is getting party goodies across the border.
This summer is going to be my 5th Shambhala - If you've never been, start getting ready now. As far as no liquor, you just have to hide it when you're going through security and when you're drinking it - beer cozy = no probs. In all honesty I saw more people getting hassled for liquor than for openly selling lucy so it isn't even an issue.
Soundwave is like a little Shambhala, except its on Vancouver Island (A beach south of Tofino) and there are pretty much no restrictions. Its my favorite festival at the moment; not too big but not too small (7,000-9,000). Most beautiful place in the world.

But yeah. Music festivals rock. LETS GET NAKED!!!!
