New York City Diesel Fan:

Looks like you got everything youe need!

My personal hitlist at the moment is:

1st place: Raw Papers and Tips:

Those papers are not chemically bleached and therefor have a nice brownish tone.

The paper is very thin, so you can even see through it.

I´ve been using them for a while now, I can clearly taste the difference to other papers.

Actually all you can taste is the weed and/or tobacco inside.

The unbleached filtertips are also very nice.

Many smokers would not believe how much the joint´s taste can be altered by a white filtertip alone.

The "crisscross" watermark provides a very even burn.

The paper doesn´t burn too fast and goes out if you don´t pull on the joint for a while.

Also the taste after relighting the joint is much better than with other papers.

2nd Place: ELEMENTS:

Very, very nice rice paper.

Has an even burn, and doesn´t influence the taste as much as most other papers.

3rd place: PARTY IN HOUSE - Papers:

Shitty name, but very good quality.

A nice box containing 5 meters of ultra thin and nicely burning rolling paper and
50 filtertips.

4th place goes to: RIZLA BLUE:

Those papers are widely available, and have a good burn, and not that much taste.

I´m a very picky person.- Some people may call me a connaiseur, others may call me neurotic(what I certainly am..)

Peace,

spice

Filtertips/Filter

Filtertips/Filter

By the way:

Which kind of filter tips or other filters do you use?

I normally roll dutch style spliffs and use "cardboard" filter tips.

My favorite filtertips, as allready mentioned above, is the unbleached one from RAW.

But those "Jilter Filters" from Zwister look also interresting.

The producer claims they filter out tar and nicotine, but NOT the THC.

Any inputs?

One Love,

Rolling papyrus! I need rolling papyrus!

We use Elements over here. Gotta love them! You can really taste the weed.

Smoking was the brand of choice until some of their ingredients were uncovered. :joint:

Well I replied once in post #4 but am needing to upgrade my response today.
Somehow throwing a lick on some Rizlas is now a bit more appealing to me...

clubs are the best for sure. they are thinner than raws made of pure hemp and are glue-less which makes rolling a skill, but a skill worth learning because when you roll a perfect club you almost don't want to smoke it its so beautiful... almost. clubs are pretty hard to find in most places so if you cant find those raws are second best. the only fault i find with clubs is that they are bleached. if clubs made a glue-less pure hemp paper without bleach i would buy a 1000 of them cause i would never need another paper to smoke.

the best investment i could have bought for rolling my jays .the blunt are for friends who like blunts .never smoked blunts but ther good for lots of pepes smoking and i will never roll any one my raws they are mine .ohh the bud in the pic is some 2 month old kalimist that tast sooo good in raw papers and it burns slow.i am glad i bought a box.the only papers i could buy is job 1.5 .i had to order them special. well worth the money.

I prefer RAW as well, both the papers and the filtertips; though sometimes I substitute the filtertip with a piece of dried stem(a small hollow piece about 3-5 cm long) from one of the plants - works well and is usually readily available ;)
Digression: does anybody know of any brands that have similiar qualities to RAW but organic as well?

My vote is for the RAW,way efficient...who all have done the science test:you know, the one where you line up all the usual papers, and burn them one by one checking out the smoke, and also the residue which is left behind.I like Zags, but they burn like paper bags!O well,in the wilds, paper bags may even work out!Smoke pure like a Sythian, just toss huge balls of bud onto the hot rocks and lean into the smoke plumes.Goin' old style...
