I have a proper brain frazzle timer , I can set it to go all the way up to 18 hours light , whilst keeping the 12 dark I had it made to see how I can manipulate the photo periods I'm thinking 11/15 on sats and 15/12 on indica I've had this for well over 12 years now and not once tried it , I am for sure this year gonna try this .
What you think ? Interesting at least no

@Ganja baba - that sounds like a really interesting idea, if it is the dark period that determines so much, then keeping that and giving them as much light as possible must be worth a go.

I've heard of people running 12-6, but never the opposite way round with the high number on the light end. 12-6 squeezes more days into a shorter amount of time. So with a sativa maybe 10-6 would be beneficial. Is that right? I'm happy to learn something new.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, the dark period is very important and has got to be 12 at least, I run mine at 11/13.
Yeah ive got one similar, had it for about the same time, used it once on 15/12 for a while, didn't know when to go in the bloody room, what day is it, is the light on or off?> brain frazzle!

The brain frazzle Cloneman mentions could be bit tricky getting used to, especially over a possibly 24 week period.
But, if you have the time and the inclination to do it then I for one would be really interested in the results. People need to be prepared to experiment, who knows, this could advance indoor sativa growing leaps and bounds.

Sorry mate just seen this, I only did it for a week, with 27 hour cycles after a few days I didn't know when to go in the room, is the light on or off > brain frazzle. You'd have to have a dedicated spread sheet for it, goddammit I'm a stoner.
