Not really, 1.0g spliffs all the way. But I'm looking to into Cob curing like old school Jamaican.. Seems to mature the glandular heads for a much deeper stone but there's an art form to do it properly, going to get some sweet corn husks to experiment..

I did see a member on icmag doing the corn cob curing recently_ good luck man!

I'll keep everyone updated good or bad :)

Looks like you have to be black and using African soil for it to work though g81 my friend lol

Lol, I know your talking about burying it etc. Thankfully you can achieve the same thing using vacuum bags, basically you want the minimal amount of air In contact with the bud but that was quite funny remark!

Smoking a strain called Betty.
A visitor gave me a few buds.
Can't remember what the cross was, 3 Sativas and an Afghan I think. Strains gone and progeny is ruined. So just enjoying it while I've got it. Really tasty in pure spliffs, tastes good right up to the roach. Hazy, but not lemony.

Strains gone.
I know the feeling.
I have the "one that got away" feeling over a strain I grew from bag seed. Had the aroma and taste of frankincense and (old original fairy) washing up liquid, maybe a bit hint of apple and lime. The plant hermied on the bottom branches. I grew 2 plants of these bag seeds, one smelled like this, the other smelled of boring lemons. As you were smoking a spliff of it, a 1cm long band of oil receded back from the cherry (ember). This weed if smoked in the morning would keep you high/stoned all day. It had real staying power.
I didn't keep a cut of it or re-veg because it hermied, but I still regret losing it to this day.
I actually still have some more of the same bag seed. But everytime I think of growing it, I remember that it's gonna hermi. Maybe that shouldn't deter me, herms don't seem to stop people in the U.S. From propagating a variety...

It's sad but I think that "one that got away" was the nicest tasting/smelling with the best effects I've had. If anyone can enlighten me to what this strain was I'd be very grateful. Be nice to grow it without hermi flowers. The buds were dense and pointy, so probably not a haze, didn't really foxtail much either.

Had a few people say sweet seeds are good.

Always fancied trying their black jack (black domina x Jack Herer) if it's exactly as they say on their description. I'm sure they mention frankincense aroma.

Well it's an avenue to explore, I've seen a few Citrala crosses about. I'll check what their descriptions are... Cheers.

It's great when that happens. Those varieties make the best dry sift and extracts. The s8 or terminator white rhino cut did that.

Peace

Was weird. It didn't look amazingly resinous when growing, not like The White or other kushy types. But nice solid buds. Crystals didn't look massive, but must have been holding a fair bit of resin, cos the buds had a good weight to them.

Yeah man, resin profile, and trichomes themselves, are pretty interesting.

You can find "white" varieties that appear covered in resin, but in reality its all trichome stalks, and the trich heads contain very little of the good stuff. Where as on the other hand, you've got things like OG, which doesn't appear the most resinous of plants, but can yield 30 percent returns in oil when making solventless extracts, and will make you cough your guts up with the expansion of the smoke.

Peace
