Just about to pop round a mates house to jar up bit of Silas's lost skunk - brightside X blues -
This 1's a blues pheno......The little early sample i tried a wk ago was lovely, bluesy inhale & savoury cheese on the exhale......
.....I ran afew of these over the yrs & for me they have mostly leaned towards the dad - more sweet bluesy taste, with a touch of cheeseyness in there to.

Sounds like a good cross but the problem with the real cheese is the terps don't breed true so the dad will always dominate and you'll never get an identical rep of the mum, only vaguely similar traits unfortunately. She's a great breeding tool nevertheless.

no problem if you not looking for 1 lol.....Yer from my experience with this cross you are very right Piff, all of the girls grown have lean to the mum have been cheesey but NOT brighside cheese!.....but the dad gives seem real tasty buds, so tick in my box mate.

I'd love to know what the cheese clone I grew was.
I smoked some really good weed this fella had who was a friend of someone I knew and asked what it was and the guy was a bit smug,told me it was cheese and grown from an old clone he had been given but he wasn't going to share it.I assumed he had taken a disliking to me somehow and that eventually the mutual friend of ours would get it off him.A year or so passes and occasionally he calls round to this mates of mine while I'm there,pulls a big bag of cheese out,makes a skimpy joint which won't go round the 4 people there,then offers to sell you any other strain he may have grown.I asked my friend what was up with the guy and he just shrugged and said thats ****,he's always been like that,he won't share it and we'll never get the clone.
fast forward a year again,by now big buddha has released his cheese regs.I grew it and found 2 great females,an afghan dom and a more sativa longer flowering phenne day I am at the mates house and the chod fella arrives,smokes a bit of the buddha cheese which came out blinding and he's like yeah it's ok but it's not the original one etc.,then makes his skimpy joint...I say to him something like mate you've got the flo clone I selected ages ago why won't you share the clone if it's a great plant it's stupid keeping it to yourself.He spat the dummy out BIGTIME and wanted the mutual friend of ours to give him back a piece of really nice hash he'd just sold him,started getting money out of his pocket and saying here's your money etc. picked the hash up of the scales and shot out of the door,then screamed his car down the road.
cut now again to about 6 months later and I'm round at a house and I go to the toilet,in the bathroom there is maybe 60 clones in a tray in the bath,leggy as fuck,yellow but alive.I asked the guy what are those in the bathroom they need some serious help,fella says oh they're my brothers left over from a thing he did with ***** he just left them there about a month ago when he moved out.I gave a stem rub and immediately recognised it.I asked the guy mind if I take a couple of these to save them? he's like help yourself bud.
I shared it with the mutual friend and we both grew it out.It was fucking priceless when the sap came round one day and recognised it immediately and started asking where we'd got it in a manic way,I never did tell him and he's never spoken to me since lol.

Yeah man, the cheese dom phenos tend to be cheesey but not quite there if you get me, where as the hybrid phenos tend to be quite unique and the cheese def adds a twist to the father's side. Still running a Brightside Cheese x Chem BX2, years later.

Hahahaha that guy sounds like a massive bell end, particularly as cheese had been freely shared for almost two decades before matey got his cut. Why did he keep getting invited back round? It's always the biggest pricks that are able to source the best smoke innit!
