I found out I am going to be a dad last week, crazy It still has not hit me yet and it has been a week. My girlfriend is pretty scared and we both are nervous. But everything happens for a reason.I am happy though and it is going to be one wild ride, for now on.
Everything happens for a reason - pregnancy happens because you don't use contraception. It shouldn't be a mystery.
I hope you're in a strong relationship and in a financial situation to have kids - not just having it because "it's a miracle". Too many people are having kids when on benefit or at school - and that worries me. Personally, such a huge commitment and responsibility scares the bejebus out of me.
I have a son, he is awesome, I live having a little mini-me around. I would not have had it any other way, it is awesome introducing him to cool stuff like movies I grew up with.
Congrats! Kids are great I'm fortunate to have a son and a daughter that both are angels ( most of the time ). Hope all goes well for you and yours. Shine On.
Congrats on the child. Im sure you will be a excellent father. I hope to be a DAD one day, and have a boy of my own. Happy for you brother. Now light a fat one in celebration.
Congratulations Kinger... I wish you, your girlfriend, and new baby all the best.
Trust me when I say the next few years will be some of the most anxious, nervous, stressful, as well as some of the most exciting, happiest, meaningful and most truly fulfilling times in your life
You will never experience a stronger love, and bond then that of which you'll have for your child, and her mother. The truly genuine showing of emotions from your child, when they smile, hug, kiss, and love you will be like nothing you've ever felt before. At times it will be hard, and stressful raising your child, but in the end you'll find all your sacrifices, efforts and hard work have been worth it. All it takes is their genuine smile, and happiness and you'll know it was worth it all.
No matter what anyone says children are in fact a miracle of life.. As long as you put your childs welfare/needs/wants before your own, and even before the relationship with your girlfriend things will work out for you. Girlfriends can, and sometimes do come and go, even with a baby, and the best intentions and plans on ur part, but your child will always be your child forever no matter what.
Congratulations!!!I had my first son at 18 and my second son at 34...I was loseing my hunting and fishing buddy , yes both were planed. They keep you young, both in body and mind!!!
Thanks everyone for the support it means alot to me.everyone on her is the best and so helpful with ANY kind of problems beside questions about smoking/growing.
Congrats. I hope it all goes well. Enjoy the ride your girlfriend is going to go on. I suggest a hard hat and a seat belt. Hit her with the helmet and buckle her to a chair. Not serious. Enjoy the ride. It gets more thrilling from here. Your dad or mom's wish of "someday you will have a kid just like you" is about to come true.
Congrats! Celebrate by buying her a BIG bottle of good prenatal vitamins. Make sure she takes them and some vitamin E and Omega 3 too! Get regular prenatal care. She shouldn't smoke, but vaping doesn't give you the carbon monoxide that smoking does. Brownies are nice, too. Give her a hug and a "I love you!" every day! - Granny
