Things may take a bit longer than Jeff envisaged to get things but hey, i'm in no rush.
I wondered that too but aparently with Zinc, especially Zinc Chloride, you have to be careful to avoid sinus area or you risk permanent loss of smell.
Smell is something i value a lot.

Ivan has found himself a new girlfriend… he spent three days with that poor dog’s neck in his mouth, they both rolled around on the grass, showing much joy and pleasure… it did me good to see Ivan interacting with another dog and having such a good time… he’s becoming laser sharp in the way he reacts to my commands… it’s a long and twisted story but no, I didn’t bring home one speck of food… the host and hostess didn’t get out of bed until I was home…

You would get some relief just doing the netty pot with the salt solution. I use that to help clear my lungs out whenever I have congestion which causes my cough. @Putembk you taking anything to dry that cough up OTC?

This is great for clearing and thinning out mucus. Also the q tip to the nasopharyngeal area with zinc chloride is supposed to encourage healing of that area.
