I worked for awhile as an Industrial Engineer doing efficiency studies and teaching work simplification and motion economy techniques to management and employee groups, as well as conducting studies of my own.

I can attest first hand that it isn't a popular profession and that I wasn't uniformly loved and respected.

Those who hated me most of course was those whose ox was being gored, and those who most feared critique.

Things sometimes turned ugly with not only attacks on me as the messenger, but on fellow managers employees, trying to throw them under the bus and hold on to more of their own.

The truth in business is that sometimes you have to reduce staff to stay in business and protect the remaining staff. It is more cost effective to remove low performers and hold on to those carrying those low performers

What we see Elon's task force doing besides simply auditing line by line for corruption and waste, is asking a long list of work simplification questions starting with what is being done, and why is it being done.

Fear of public exposure of those results are fearful to some whose ox's are being gored.

Question is, why does America fear Elon must?

Over 77 million ppl who voted for this Mandate disagree with that statement. They don't fear fixing waste and getting rid of the goddamn swamp creatures.
Over half the US including several thousand Democrats who crossed over and most Independents voted for this Mandate by electing DT.
There is a reason he won the College Electorial vote, all 7 Swing states, and the Popular vote. Like it or not he won fair and square.
